As a construction worker, electrician and general builder of things, the thing I like most about Ian is his way of making ppl think he is just winging it. In reality he has skills and know exactly how to use them in endles combinations. He might try new stuf and materials, but he will always try using his wealth of experience and knowledge. I like to do the same. Ppl think you are a goddang magician and all you do is combine a few skillsets you used many times before...
I love these ones. MORE!! MORE!!!! MORE!!!!!!
You are a true master.
You’re the metal man Ian fix the original looks the best out of all of them😮
I've found a new "home". Love these videos. Keep up the good work Sir!
That was so cool, restores my faith in my " just wing it" way of bldg. Gonna remember trunk thing instead of bldg bed floor, top cover on bed was a great idea.
Now that's a great build, they should all go like that, awesome job guys
This was an awesome video. These guys love what they do and Ian is a master what he does.
We did a lot of wood burning with a butane torch back in the when I was the Army construction Engineers
Ian is the kustom man mate
When does I'm just glad to see you guys working together that is so cool it had such a nice job on that truck I would love to have a truck like that I've always dreamed of having a pickup truck from the 1930s to the 1940s Chopped with a big V8 what a beautiful job it's an absolute pleasure just watching the videos Ian is very special guy
Fantastic finish.
Interestingly,
Flaming that wood on the bed makes it more weatherproof!
That was nice! This is the way life should be! RWB ❤🎉
Great editing on this, thanks from The Retro Restoration Garage 😊
I would love to have that pickup.
This a wonderful automotive TH-cam channel so I subscribed.
Look at that...That rear window area looks really bad ..which is really good ...awesome!!!!!
Sweet ride. Well done.
That’s asum love it’s low and tight and clever too🎉😅
Back window idea, Both the original stock window lowered and Upside-down just above it place the long campout for ventilation.
Great video 🎉 And always trust the shop inspector🎉🎉🎉
It was blessed from the beginning ,,,,,,, with a cat scan 😂😂 ,,,,,,,,,,,
Nice!
That's a funny looking 55 Buick in the header pic.
i would have hand built the hood from good quality wood and not what looks like 6mm thick ply.. and i hope in time they will replace.. :) love the builds.. soz i am into my wood.. :) lol
and a couple holes in the lowest point in the storage area to help with drainage from water..
Lordie help me.....i have things i should be doing...instead im sitting on the couch...watching and laughing....just my kind of humor.....😂
the part thats bare metal is great i,d bet the hole truck would look great in bare metal then clear coat wow that would be sweet
Cool
Maybe they make spray can better these days, but in the 70's and 80s, if you used spray cans, rust was just around the corner.
This one is most certainly one of your best Ian and most fun
Love the (‘new’) old truck dying on you in the race and your cool ‘pit boss head’
The total effect was magical
EVERYBODY loved it
endlessly
Thanx stacks‼️🥂
You’ve got one really happy client there…
And, oh yes, your craftsmanship on the truck safari window was just ‘out of this world’ ~ extremely well and skillfully done‼️
Thanks again…
👊🔥🪖
His best haha he done a panel repair and...........😅😅
That's one shithot looking pick-up man i love it
That sweet old truck needs a posi rear end
I really have to win the Lottery so that I can have Ian build me a model A .
Nice truck, now.
What is up with the 55 buick title???? The buick makes a brief appearance at the start of the video, but that's all we see of it. I get the feeling whoever is copy and pasting these old shows for YT doesn't bother to watch them.
Who bloody cares karen, sit down, shut up and be thankful you get to watch it
I loved the way he was mess with him when he started heating up the back window
"Do you think it's gunna work?" Ian shrugs his shoulders"i don't know"😂😂😂
Where do you get the money with everything you have?
like 2.3 K !
Great video and a cool build - but it's not about he 55 Buick. That car is only shown for a second.
It's not easy being green .
Envisioning tools😮😅

I was much younger & way dumber with a few parts of a 27 Chev. & a 56 Olds eng. 6ft. wheelbase .
So where is the "Classic Buick 1955 ????" RIPOFF!
This was boring, started on half done project, done a rust repair and got the guy to burn his own deck cover.. 😂😂
This is NOT a restoration. A restoration is to return something back to it's original condition or as close as possible to it considering the ability to put original build parts on it or something else as close as possible. (This is called a roticery.) He is now missing half of the car if not slightly more.
The resolution is sooo bad. Almost uncatchable
its because your internet sucks lol
If you have to do a cat video, this is how.
Can you PLEASE make your videos all the same volume. Nearly had a seizure.
I've started with worse and less than that IH.
Buick is a 1956
where is the part where a 1955 buick was restored ?? all i saw was an international well back being rat roded if yoy are going to take other peoples videos and call them yours at least get the title right
that job reminds me of something an old mechanic taght me long ago if a customer asks, how much an hour do you charge. I charge $60.00 an hour, customer replies how much if I help, I replied back then it will be $120.00 per hour. Go away and let me do the job peoperly.
That's just dumb to race in the dirt
Why does she keep sticking her tongue in her cheek like that .seems a weird habit . Maybe she had her lunch stuck in her teeth
I wanted to like this. I truly did. But the vibe is waay too History channel for me. Sorry guys
This Ian Maestro is most certainly something else
Never seen (or heard of) a Guy with SO MANY PLANS and ALL of them he can get to (or make to) work
‘just like that’
It is quite phenomenal
and really awe inspring
Go for it
Am very sure you are impressing your client no NADA end
Happy for you both
It is a most ingenious setup all this creativity, passion and talented energy all pooled into one melting pot of unusual action
The end result IS going to be spectacular
most certainly AND without any doubt
Enjoying the ride

You are so addictive 😊. Love your work and you never get excited. I never could do that cause I get in a hurry and it’s not long I’m throwing stuff. I think back to the 70s when I had a 72 SS Nova , 4sd and poss track. Played with it but never tore it up. Sold it to a cousin and he went through it like a dose of diarrhea. Made me sick. I also had a 54 1/2 Chevy pickup. They had the small back glass and got to working too much and sold it. Right before I sold my 58 Electro glide Harley , another big mistake.
❤👍
I wanted to see cars not people - too much people not much cars. P-U!
Fantastic work 👏 👍 👌 🙌
That back window would look good with a split window. This guy needs to step back and trust Ian. You can’t shackle an Artist, let him flow.
I can't watch this
First
Choptop is the go bro
No problem have you not heard of a cat scan ?
Ian is a master
why those videos are in TH-cam after 6 years ? this one is from 2018. Sorry but is memorial channel.
You are a complete idiot !
It doesn’t matter how old it is, it’s brand new to me. That’s why it’s on TH-cam, for people like me that search for auto builds and this guy is good. So just turn it off if it’s too old for you.
dumb comment
