Even when I went to the actual website, there aren’t any kinky/coily girls represented, not even her mom. Then reading what each product is supposed to do and how to use them I knew it was a no-go for me. What I don’t like is that she’s advertised it as being for ALL hair types and that just doesn’t seem to be the case in my opinion. Maybe the shampoo, possibly even the conditioner. I have tried the gel,it works on some parts of my hair. My hair 3b-3c/4a-4b (i know its a lot,i got the hair combo from my parents) on my type 3 curls it was AMAZING-defined the curls for sure. For my type 4a/4b coils it was very light and it didn’t define my coils but it did help with the frizz. I will say the gel is great for a twist out/braid out though,it well definitely minimize the frizz. I opted to leave the rinse out conditioner in and added a bit of the gel to my two strand twists. The twists held out for almost two weeks.
Hemi15 is plant based and biodegradable. It's sugarcane derived, and is supposed to have a lot of properties to make the hair look goodt! It's in all of the products, even in the oil
You know, what I respect about brands like mixed chicks is that they are honest, in the very name of their brand even, about who their products are for. I like when I don’t waste $ on products that will not work for me. I think 4U should’ve been a little more up front about who their products are aimed for.

I like the look. I think if that is the look you are going for it looks great. I think you could use this gel to braid your hair. I mean the hold isn’t stiff but you aren’t frizzing. I also wonder how this would work if you were blow drying your hair straight.

I think hemi 15 is the proprietary ingredient that’s in all the 4U products. You probably won’t find much on what it is actually is, if that makes sense.
It sounds like hemisqualane to me... which is nothing new in cosmetic chemistry. She's probably patented it with a few other ingredients and now calls it revolutionary 🤥🤥🤥
