I was 10 when it was released in 1983 so i never saw it when it was first in theaters! I've seen it hundreds of thousand of times on cable, VHS, DVD, Edited for broadcast TV, (Forget chu, mang!) Netflix etc. Seeing it on the big screen was absolutely the best time i've ever watched this movie!! Every seen was magnified x 10!! When Manol' shoots Frank, when Tony shoots Mel, when Sosa kills Omar! The chainsaw scene & the gun battle at the end were all off the charts!!!! This one night re re lease event is happening all over the country. If you ever have the chance to see it at your local mega plex or wherever I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
