When you actually look into his "predictions", they become less impressive. The polls called most of the elections. The polls actually narrowly called Bush over Gore, while the Professor here was wrong on that one. Predicting Trump was impressive. But it's such a small sample size and half of the elections have a clear favourite anyway.
Not only is this BY FAR the most informative political channel on TH-cam right now, the father-son banter is so wholesome and sweet, the video content also uplifts me. These are two great guys.

One thing I'll give Biden a lot of credit for is immediately endorsing Kamala. He could have waited or not done anything, but by immediately tossing his hat in the ring, he got the ball rolling on the support for her. Based on what AOC had been saying, I'm not entirely sure she would've gotten such universal backing, but I think Biden basically helped preserve the primary contest key; one final wish of his final campaign. What a good man.

I will vote for Harris but as an Elder I feel beat up from these last few weeks of agism. I've been told we stink, we have dementia if we miss a name, and one article I read said we shouldn't even vote because we are useless to society. It was very demoralizing and dehumanizing.

Don’t let those aholes devalue you, I respect the wisdom that comes with age. Clearly these people were not raised right. Biden really was struggling, I was worried because I love him so much. His immune system was taking a hit, he got sick back to back. I’m a nurse, his gaffes didn’t worry me as much as his gait. I think he needs a cane for his bad foot, not an option when running for president. I never said it out loud but I was concerned something devastating might happen in a very public setting.

My take is Biden was too alarmed by the psychological state of the Democratic party to continue. The evidence he was on track to lose I don't think was actually there. The Democratic Senatorial candidates in the swing states polled much better than he did, often well ahead. That's probably a better predictor of the eventual actual vote. How many Tammy Baldwin voters in WI would vote for Trump? I find it hard to imagine any.
I wonder if the incumbency key is wholly lost, given the nature of the transition, Biden vouching for her, and the party rallying behind her so comphrensively. "Win it for Joe" is a thing
USA is becoming more diverse, but also more urban. Democrats are stronger in cities, particularly in Republican states. Democracy is a problem for Republicans in the long run and they know it!

I think she.will be a good president. I do have to say I am very disappointed in the democratic party for how they handled the president not running. They should have went to him privately instead of publicly. I am also disappointed in the press. Yep. I voted in the Republican primary this year because I didn't see Joe losing the primary, and I wanted a chance to keep MAGA from infiltrating my state government. However, I voted for Biden/Harris in 2020 and planned to do so again this year. After that bad debate, I resigned myself to the idea we'd have President Harris by 2028. Still, I didn't want Biden to drop out. When he did, I was furious at party leaders because I was sure there would be a nasty convention, further pushing us into chaos. But within a day, I saw the Dems (unexpectedly, given their history of snatching defeat) rally around her. Now I'm low-key excited.
Absolutely when voting for President Biden, it was clear if he became incapacitated or died, Kamala, as the Vice President would take over just like LBJ did when President JFK was assassinated. Now that he has stepped down, it’s only right that Kamala is the next choice. (By the way, she was my first choice in the 2020 Democratic primary prior to her dropping out).

I'm British and I can shed some light on what's going on. We Europeans are basically going to screw Ukraine. we are just going to carve it up. We take the Western piece and the Russians take the Eastern piece. Basically making what was a defacto political arrangement a dejure official arra. Win-win for us and Russia, but much more of a win for us since we didn't even have to get directly involved in the war, we used the Ukrainians. Ukraine as we knew it is no more, and at some point in the future we will normalise relations with Russia again, they're our European cousins. Every so often over the last few hundred years we beef them, then kiss and make up.

Switching to Kamala Harris for President has unleashed a level of relief, optimism and enthusiasm that may be very unusual. Kamala can deliver a strong speech. Great!
I for one am more optimistic. It appears that the Democrats are going to make the transition to Kamala Harris without internal fighting.

Most polls put her significantly losing to Trump, and history tells us via 2016 that Harris will likely lose.
Hell, if its not a landslide win, if its even close, republicans will steal it through any means necessary, and we'll have a repeat of 2000 and 2016. That's all it takes! That, and the Supreme Court will likely be used against Harris's campaign.

9. He is a Democrat in a state that has a Democrat Governor. His seat would be filled by the governor if he were to win with Kamala Harris.
10. The energy and enthusiasm around his candidacy would spillover to help the other seat to be filled by the Democrat running against Kari Lake.
