Next year I'm taking video evidence and taking it to police with the address of the people who do this every year as if they are the only ones who have rights in the neighborhood. Every single one of those people lighting off illegal fireworks should be arrested and then fined to serve fire department. And all those who think it's cool and ok for illegal fireworks should as well. I've seen 2 homes in my neighborhood destroyed because of illegal fireworks. That's 2 families completely devestated so someone else could get drunk and blow shit up. Illegal fireworks have nothing to do with celebrating American Indepemdence and everything to do with BBQ, beer, and bombs. Imagine your house being burned down because of someone else's levity. All fireworks should be banned. It's insane and unnecessary. If you want to celebrate independence, volunteer for a veterans organization or teach your children what American values mean. Don't threaten the lives and livelihood of your neighbors.
