    As someone who put this turbo in a bigger bodied fusion, has some steam to it! Puts the stock k03 to shame without a doubt.

      @@EdgeAutosport I got a 2024 2.0 ecoboost Maverick, can you do a build on it . Mainly I’d like to see Auxiliary Port Injection ( see if Focus ST setup works) an intercooler and Turbo for 320-350 hp. I already did, intake, down pipe, catback and HP Tune as I found your channel to late and already got some components. It’s a Tremor edition so I’m going to need some more HP to handle the power robbing 33’s I have planned

    Use a hybrid turbo,cold air intake,stage2 intercooler and a catback system . Mine has got 300+ with it.

    id be happy if i can get close to 300 on stock turbo. i have no plans on doing fuel upgrades either, unless im in need of a HPFP replacement 😆 but mahalo for this info!🤙

    Have been tuned on stock turbo E30 for a while now car has been great. VDyno says 299whp definitely surprised many cars on the road here in Australia - tuned LS based Holdens and XR6 Turbo (4L Turbo Barra 6cyl). My partner got an M235i with a tune and she chops me hard though haha

    Mine has 262bhp and 285ft tq, no ecu, just air filter res delete and carbon clean, looking to do FMI and decat hoping should get about 285 hp without a map fingers crossed

    Since these intercoolers need the ags removed is there any appreciable difference in performance or mpg at all without it? I'm putting one in and curious what to expect with it out since online rhetoric is dubious at best

    is not dangerous to run a bigger turbo with the stock cat system? is not a bigger turbo back pressure with a big turbo and stock cat?

      The stock turbo exhaust housing is the most restrictive part of the flow in the engine. I can’t remember what people were saying the stock exhaust was good for but it’s not till 350whp I think it starts becoming an issue.

      There are so many options for a "Full bolt on" build, it doesn't make sense to add links to every part we sell. Hop over to the website and make sure your have: Intake, Downpipe, Intercooler, Exhaust.

    I would to buy Focus ST 2013/2014 preFL. I heard lot of bad about this EB 2.0 engines. Is it crap or its reliable with correctly maintained ?
    Im not upgrade it and let in at stock parts. For some while.

      Yes you can use the Boomba Blow Off Valve in the stock location when installing a Garrett Powermax.

      You can buy octane booster they you pour into the gas tank. Most will bump you up to at least 93. Then you can get water/meth injection to raise it further. Look into fuel additives

    With power and performance I like aesthetics... Maybe you can answer this. Painting or powder coating an intercooler a good or bad idea? I wouldn't want to spend hundreds on an upgrade just to make it useless...

      I'm not a scientist, but in theory any layer added to an intercooler would most likely insulate it and stop it from transferring heat (That's its job). Some companies use colored THERMAL coating, designed to be more efficient at transferring heat, that might actually help. Mishimoto powder coats in sliver, black, and gold, (I haven't found any tech specs on the paint from them) but their product is fantastic. SO, I guess I can't really answer that question.

      You most likely have gas similar to our 93. The US uses a different method for octane rating than most of the world. The fuel isn't as much of an issue as the limitations of the turbo.

      Much of the world uses a different method for octane ratings than the US. Just a quick search shows UK uses RON method I think. The USA uses (R+M)/2. So it's a different number but could mean the same thing. I would imagine our 93 octane is similar to your 99 but I'm not sure and would have to research more.

      I made 307 whp on e30 with BWS and all the bolt ons including a wastegate at sea level and 110-115 degree weather. Tuned by Alan too

    How are the ots tunes on the accessport? I have full bolt ons but plan on going aux fuel and big turbo in thear future and really dont want to pay for 2 different tunes.

      Cobb's OTS tunes are much more tame than ours, if you want more power, go with ours!

    Curious what the limit is hp wise on that powermax before it’s maxed out? Plan on going FMIC, DP, AP, intake, and trying to decide if I should just go the 2867 route or if the powermax will be fine?

      You will cap out around 340whp. You will be taxing the turbo the same way you would be taxing the stock turbo at 290-300whp. 320whp is the sweet spot. Lets just say, if you want more than 320whp, this is not the turbo for you.

      I’m going big turbo at 126k miles. as long as the vehicle is healthy you will be fine

    Have you guys done any work on the 2nd gen fusions with the same ecoboost 2.0? I’m curious cause my understanding is the main weakpoint is the transmission, and I keep seeing conflicting reports as to the max power and torque the 6f35 can take

      The stock turbo on 91 at sea level will spin out before it hits 300hp.

      I can't guarantee, but I'm pretty sure it'll fit. That's the first year of the mk3 internationally and the USA got the mk3 in 2013.

      Focus ST is fuel limited to 380hp, in stock form, I believe.

      91 and 93 don't have enough power to get to 300hp with the stock turbo. If you upgrade to the Powermax you can run 91 and 93.

      You’ll be there, but the turbo will be near maxed out. The recommended turbo usually is a GTX2867r Gen 2. You’ll be able to easily make 350+ wheel with plenty of room to play with.

      252 is the factory rating at the crank. They typically dyno at around 230whp stock.

      Like he said it's easier and more reliably. The little k03 stock will have a hard time surviving and is not the same for everyone. It might cook itself .

      Yes! The powermax is a OEM+ and any quality aftermarket intercooler will be much better than the original intercooler
