no in the comics amenadiel was the one that was after Lucifer. you can see amenadiel at 5:13 but the biggest difference is amenadiel was actually trying to kill him. until Lucifer beat him in a fight to the death where Lucifer then ripped out his heart and ate it. Gabriel didn't show up until the 2016's run on Lucifer, where it was thought he killed god. (fun fact the presence (the name god use in DC comics) was never in the 2016's run, as it turns out to be a imposter the entire time.)
