This was Whitney at her peak in my opinion. And I remember Kevin Costner being absolutely heartbroken when she passed. He was asked to eulogize her; he did and it was really touching.
Whitney had such incredible talent. She was a gift to the world. My heart still breaks whenever I hear her now. It is a huge tragedy that drugs took her, and many others. Please please people. Don't do drugs of any kind - ever.
Pegasus, I am a 73 year old white dude. I have tears everytme I hear Whitney sing. She is my all time favorite female singer. I cried when she died. So just wipe the tears away and be thankful to have heard this angle sing. P.S. Love your channel, not a fan of all rap or the more modern songs, love your presentation. Subscribed and recommending to all I meet..
Shes called " the Voice," for a reason. The industry destroyed her, then took her life. We will uphold her legacy. She didn't deserve to die and many of us miss her. Whitney was a very classy and seemed very down to earth.
I'll cry with you young man. Her beauty and talent were beyond compare and I watched her deteriorate through terrible drug abuse and finally lose her life while still in the thralls of this entrapment. Absolutely heartbreaking. And if you can't cry about this, you can't cry about anything.
Man Whitney had a voice like NOOO other, i mean WOW, I really appreciate her sharing her talent with the world!! I won't talk about or judge her on her personal life because its none of my business, just the talent she shared with the world!!!! RIP!!! If you see Prince up there tell him we miss his enormous talents as well!!!❤
This is how I like to remember her. A beautiful, chic and wholesome role model, and the most incredible voice to ever grace a performance. That is who she was at her core. Truly a gift from God. R.I.P. beautiful Whitney.
Whitney had brought me to tears with the sheer beauty of her voice and her emotional delivery more times than I can count. She was one of the greatest ever ❤❤❤
It ( I Will Always Love You) was not just Dolly's version, she wrote it backstage of The Porter Wagoner Show, then walked out and sang it to him as her way of saying ," Goodbye " . She was leaving their very successful variety show to go solo. It was Kevin Coster that intoduced Whitney to the song and suggested she sing it. Legends...❤
@diorrboyyyy We know that. I Will Always Love You , is the song he said he knew from Whitney and never knew until recently about " Dolly's version". I guess for people who didn't hear him say that I should add the title but if he read this he knows what he said. Thank you 🌹
Awesome timeless song by the incredible Whitney Houston! I'm not a Kevin Costner fan but her singing in The BodyGuard is deemed top notch in the history of movies! thanks for sharing Black Pegasus :)
She is my generation. The devastation we felt when she died is incomparable. I cry now every time I hear her sing. The only one who hit me as hard was Prince. Just imagine the music the world is missing out on because they both died so early.
Whitney was one of the best voices in history. She was so talented and here we are decades later and she still brings me to tears and gives me goosebumps.
May I suggest the David Phelps cover of this song. David was Whitney 's favorite gospel singer. He is an amazing tenor and one of the best male vocalist. He was 53 when he recorded his cover and I must say he killed it. He has also done one of the best versions of Oh, Holy Night I have ever heard. This song is with the Bill and Gloria Gaither. Highly recommend reacting to both.
One of the greatest voices of her generation. And one of the biggest losses. So beautiful, so brilliantly talented, so much to live for...too sad to comprehend. RIP.
Whitney is amazing! Two other official music videos that I think you would love are “Greatest Love of All” which is about loving yourself and “One Moment in Time”, which was written and performed by Whitney for the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea ❤
You know what shocked me the most about her passing was the revelation that it was an older brother who got her into drugs and she dabbled in it from Day One. They say she might have started as early as age 19. And we vilified Bobby Brown so much when all he did was partake in all the things she did. They just enabled each other. It's so sad.
Every time someone does really good with the National Anthem I’m like damn did she out do Whitney ?? Then I go listen to Whitney sing and I’m like , “ ah no not even close , my bad “ Whitney is the greatest voice of my lifetime RiP Whitney .. If you ever get a chance not even a reaction video check out Whitney singing “ didn’t we almost have it all “ accapella in a park in NYC .. she was truly a gift
Whitney Houston had & still the best most beautiful voice to ever bless us with allowing us to witness such a unbelievable voice. Long Live Whitney Houston 💔🙏🕊️
She was an absolutely amazing singer. David Phelps did a version of this song that is so good. Whitney Houston said that David was her favorite tenor ever. Not taking anything away from Whitney. She sure could sing. Beautiful voice.
There are so many beautiful talented female voices but I have to say Whitney really has a voice above everyone else. She has such control, range and power and she makes it look effortless as she does it. I do think she is the one everyone else should be compared to.
Just like Elvis she has something, something you cant explain, you just love it, right? She have a wounderful vibrato, but I don't know how to explain it what she have that makes her so special...
What is heart wrenching is the struggle & turn her life took, & that her life was cut short, possibly taken, all with that amazing atmosphere shifting gift she had, the. Her daughter dies months later almost the same way? It’s mad frickin tragic! To hear & see her do the Star Spangled Banner, showing her seeming effortless yet crafted delivery, seeing how young & pure she was at the time, then to reflect how her & daughter’s life ended, just like💔. Anyway, cool reaction! 👍🏾
Didn’t We Almost Have It All- Whitney. BP, even though it’s a slower song, Whitney sings all 88 keys on the piano. One over 10 number one songs in the 80s. IMO she is the gold standard for the best voice ever. Great song and love to see you react to it as well as her other bangers! Thanks for this great reaction.
He spoke at her funeral. Very moving and touching. He talks about making the movie with her.
He truly cared about her.
There is an interview that Costner did where he admits that he fell in love with Whitney and will never get over her passing.
Kevin Costner's comments at Whitney's funeral made me a fan of his for life.
Gone to soon.. so tragic. Beautiful EPIC voice... definitely gave me goose bumps... One of the all time great singers
😢❤😢❤😢❤
Possibly the greatest individual female pop recording of all time.

Her version of the national anthem she sang at the super bowl was EPIC and the absolute best version.
Yes!!
They should just play that version at every sport event from here on ❤
@ I’m confident that if they did, not a lot of people would kneel for it.
I was just going to comment to have him check it out too!!! Her at her best! 😂
Agreed 💯

There is a video of Kevin's eulogy at Whitney's funeral and it is fantastic - I've seen it like 5 times and touches me every time.
Absolutely
Saw it live and I was in tears the whole time.... 😢
Whitney is one of those singers that are rarer than a chicken with lips. What a phenomenal talent she was...what a loss ...
No singer like Whitney. This is one of her best songs. And loved this movie.
I can barely make it through a Whitney song with dry eyes. Such a devastating loss. She was effortless.
the music was like breathing from her... just effortless
the climax of this song is the most beautiful piece of modern vocals ever recorded .... like. an. ANGEL!
You want to cry because her talent and grace touches your soul...
She makes me cry every time with her vocals. You should react to her National Anthem. It's the best one ever.... RIP Whitney 😢
Then Chris Stapleton.
Shes called " the Voice," for a reason. The industry destroyed her, then took her life. We will uphold her legacy. She didn't deserve to die and many of us miss her. Whitney was a very classy and seemed very down to earth.
She and Steve Perry share that same nickname.
So true, couldn't satisfy black peoply
But Steve is still alive.
Her voice was so amazing. ❤
She’s too good!
Kevin Costner truly loved Whitney. He hated what happened to her. He did speak at her funeral.
In my opinion she is the best vocalist in my lifetime. The control, power, emotion and beauty is unmatched!
The duet of Whitney and Mariah Carey of When You Believe is amazingly beautiful. Two super voices together.
STELLAR!
Whitney's live performances at her peak is unbelievable!!
Her welcome home hero concert, the whole concert was amazing! She killed it...
Three more that you MUST react to are, “The Greatest Love of All“, “One Moment in Time”, and “Run to You”.
She brings me to tears. And so beautiful. RIP Whitney
The breath control needed for this song is crazy!
Tears are on my face. Rest in peace, Whitney Houston; you are singing with the angels.
Her star will always shine! 💫🌟✨️⭐️
She had an incredibly beautiful voice. Losing her was very sad.

I have always put Whitney and Celine on equal footing.
Different styles but the technique and emotion from both is nothing less than extraordinary.
Not on the same level. Sorry Celine is great but Whitney was gifted
@@PRAYERIAS1Janis Joplin was better
BP, Whitney had 10 straight USA billboard number one songs in the 80s. At the time that was a record for most consecutive number one songs.
It’s actually 7 in a row (not 10). She broke The Beatles’ record, which was 6 in a row.
❤beautiful song and a beautiful woman ❤The voice ❤
Ever since she passed away it breaks my heart to see her videos. Definitely holding back the tears.
😭😭😭 Such a talented beauty.
Not only did she have the voice of an Angel, she was one of the most beautiful women, that ever walked this earth.
R.I.P. Whitney. One of the best singers ever.
You should see her do this live. It will blow your ever loving mind.
