This is a remake of the old TechOne Swift. Had one for a long time now and it was a great flier. A friend at the field on Sunday hit me in midair with a ParkMaster Pro and neither plane survived. My Swift was not reparable but he MIGHT be able to do something with his Parkmaster because he drove into me nose first and his damage was less. Nice flying airplane and i am getting another.
Switch in the center is rate mode. You need to calibrate it. The switch in the lowest position is hover mode. It hovers the plane for you so you can practice rudder. The top is gyro off to trim it out in flight. I fly with gyro off because I like the feel of being connected to the plane. I only use rate mode when it's really windy.
In mexperience it flies better with a smaller 1300mah pack. More aft CG and lighter overall. It will hover practically on its own. Rolling hairiers becomes easier with the lighter pack, too.
Hello, can you please comment a bit on the three different flight modes ? - Switch at right corner in up position: Normal servo reaction; no gyro assistance. - Switch in centre position: After motor power on: Elevator goes up to appr. 50% deflection; gyros active. - Switch in low position: Elevator goes up to max. deflection and stays there (no control via stick possible. Other rudders can be controlled, but are not self centering when airplane is in nominal horizontal orientation. Thanks very much in advance !
My favorite plane EVER!
