Those dinner look incredible! I think I'll have to try that honey garlic chicken. I don't have a slow cooker so will have to figure out how to bake it instead! Adorable watching Audrey doing Emily's make up!! Audrey seemed very professional! I remember loving it when my big sister (6 years older) put bright blue eyeshadow on my and my other sister's eyes! We felt so grown up. Then when she got tired of entertaining her two little sisters we had to figure out another way and we used blue CHALK on our eyelids for eyeshadow! ack! P.S. that truck Jacob built was very impressive-so much detail-loved that it had that opening-great job!!!

There is another chicken thigh recipe that I make and you bake it at 350° for about an hour and 15 minutes and you baste it often so it turns nice and brown, I bet you could do that with this recipe. I hope you try it, it was really good. I am picturing the chalk on your eyelids... Lol it was so cute watching Audrey, and I was thinking how she'll be doing her makeup for real before too long. A whole week of meals that looked delicious, that lasagna noodle casserole caught my eye and the chicken too, you always make meals that I'd enjoy. I loved watching Audrey helping Emily out with her makeup, they both were so cute. I'm still trying to get better from a cold and sinus infection, thought I was on the mend until last night when the cold seems to be back in full, meals will be simple here this week, though we have had a good week of eating here. I made turkey breast dinner last night with all the trimmings, we had homemade chef salads one night, and burgers for one meal. We always have leftovers so on the nights when I don't cook, we just do whatever we have left. My husband took himself out to breakfast this morning, (I stayed in bed) but he's bringing me home some homemade Mexican Chicken Caldo (soup). Thanks for sharing your week of meals with us Lindsay, I always enjoy these videos and I loved getting to see the shot out the back window at the sunset. Everything looked wonderful, Lindsay! Your family is blessed to have delicious and well thought out meals, plus some fresh baked goods every couple of days!! Thanks for the inspiration!! I was lucky to get to catch your video during lunch while my two littles were miraculously napping at the same time! 🥰 Audrey and Emily are so sweet together!! Do they get along like that usually?! 🙀 I have 5 year old and 3 year old girls and they have the sweetest bond but equally butt heads every other hour 🤣🫣
Hi Katie, I bet that nap was glorious, the two of them napping at the same time!! Audrey and Emily do get along, but whenever Audrey wants to play Barbies, Emily wants to play too, sometimes that drives Audrey crazy!! But usually they're pretty good together. Mine are usually good to get along, and all play together, but they definitely don't get along all the time! It's a snow day here today, so the kids are out making snow forts! Have a great week! 😊
Aww!! Your kiddos sound so sweet! I totally understand about the Barbie’s 😂 Wow, snow!!! Snow forts are going to be such a sweet childhood memory for them!I can’t even imagine that weather! It felt like summer over here, 81 degrees when we played outside after school 😅

It is actually very cold here today, it feels like -19° with the windchill (-2°F) so everyone will have to bundle up. The kids were hoping for another snow day today. Lol have a great day. 😊
