I cannot thank you enough for making such calming videos. I love to watch your channel because you can soothe tattered nerves! Plus I get to learn from you! Who could ask for more.
I can't even tell you how satisfying it is to watch you sew little projects out of left overs! I'm just sitting here with a big grin on my face as they come together...so fun!
"I wasn't exact when I made these." That's great! I need to make a sign for my sewing area that says that. Make about a hundred more of these little half square triangles, throw in a couple of soft rope handles and you have an amazing beach bag. Thanks for the idea!
I still use lots of the little small things that my mother-in-law made after she got older. We ask her to do this rather than spend money and we wanted something she did they are treasured by even my grand children thank you
Beth, I love it. You debunk the thought that everything must match to work. I love what you came up with for the little zipper bag. It does not even look like a mismatch of blocks. Thanks so much for what you do. I appreciate it and enjoy it so much!!
Love your creativity, Beth! So fun to watch you sew something out of scraps, and to listen to your video music. Such a great way to relax! Your videos have taught me not to sweat every seam, that perfection isn't necessary. It's the love of sewing and creating that counts, not perfection in doing so (which is impossible to achieve anyway). Since watching your videos, I've relaxed so much more and enjoyed the craft so much more. A lot of YT videos make a sewist so stressed out, the cutting has to be perfect, the ironing has to be perfect, to the point of taking the joy out of sewing. I've seen enough FaceBook posts of beginner sewists and quilters that are ready to give up before they've begun! So sad!!! I think of you and tell them to keep up to great job, and that no project is perfect. The point is to have FUN! Thank you for the lessons that you don't know you are teaching with your videos!!!! Big hugs and blessing to you!!!
Excellent timing for me! My sewing machine is in the shop being serviced and I am using my time to go through scraps and straighten my room! Just located small hst's from three different quilt projects! Love your videos and calming way about you, Beth! Thank you!
Love how you seew so carefree me I’m trying to learn sewing as a grandma and this is perfect. Something I can share with my 7 yo granddaughter!! Thank you ☺️
I am not a seasoned quilter, but one of my favorite things to do is take my fabric scraps and sew them together. At preset I'm attempting to use all my scraps to make one big piece of fabric, not a quilt square but continuous piece. Most of my scraps came from my daughter as she is an avid quilter. I started on this quilting journey as part of my grieving process after my husband passed away in 2019, It has been great therapy.
I agree it's a fun adventure in between quilts. I'm going to try a box pencil or makeup case for 4 granddaughters. Collecting zippers at garage sales for years so nows the time to have some fun with them and kids love their own little cases to put their things in. Thanks Beth ❤️
I just found your channel a few days ago, and I am loving it. The combination of the soothing music and your relaxed simple instructions make it a pleasure to just take a few minutes to watch one of your videos. Thank you very much for your time and thought you put into your craft and for sharing so freely with all of us.
Hi Beth! Fun and cute ideas! I like to do the same things as You! I don’t think everything has to be perfect, I just like things that will be used and loved 🥰 Thank You for Sharing!
Hi Beth, you are my most favorite quilter in TH-cam. I love your calm voice, and your teaching technique is fabulous. I will always be your fan! Can’t wait for you to show us more and more. I especially love that you have changed my mind about all of my scraps. I will be making lots of scrappy gifts to give away.
This is great, sewing haphazardly can be a lot of fun. I’m almost finished doing 5,” string blocks with leftover scraps of fabric, and I quite enjoyed the process. I’ll use sashing between the blocks to make a good size lap quilt. Thanks for sharing your projects. 👍❤️😊
So many cute ideas!! I think I enjoy making little things like this as much as I love quilting. Sometimes you just need simple things to sew to reset. Thanks for sharing!!
Nice to see I'm not the only one who makes things like this with tiny scraps. Recently, I had enough scraps from a quilt I made for one of my grand daughters to make a matching neck roll pillow to go with the quilt. The HST's were so tiny! It's lovely. All thee fabrics are shades of aqua and turqoise.
Another fun and awesome video for me to watch while I hand quilt! I hope you have a peaceful week ahead! I have been busy filming for our channel. I just want you to know that I very much enjoy your content. Thank you for sharing this video and for your expertise.
Just came across your videos and really like them. You're calm and creative. I love making instant gratification items once in awhile.. I subscribed and can't wait to look at more of your videos. Keep them coming please. And I have a little green Singer also. I call her the mean green. Lol
Tiny pieces? Anything smaller than a two and a half inch squares goes into the dog beds I make for the Humane Animal Welfare Society in the area. I work a lot with “string” piecing onto foundations. I made a lap quilt from your Circle of Strings tutorial. Thank you for the idea!😊
Hi Beth. I love your adventurous attitude about quilting and materials. I'm wondering if you have ever used double gauze for quilt backing? I happened across a video on the topic and it sounds intriguing. Thank you for all you do in the quilting world.
Depends on what YOU want. It sounds like a thin fabric with a looser weave so it won’t be as sturdy. In my opinion....You get to make whatever quilt with whatever fabric you choose.
I cannot thank you enough for making such calming videos. I love to watch your channel because you can soothe tattered nerves! Plus I get to learn from you! Who could ask for more.
Sweet green machine, Sweet little projects, and Sweet sewing friend (Beth)!!!!
Fellow adventure lover here! It’s so satisfying to turn nothing into something, letting go of expectations! 😀 Great video

Making something out of nothing is a wonderful adventure!!! 💝 Love making mug rugs. 😃 Thanks for sharing! Blessings! 💕🌷🌸
Thanks for another fun little scrappy project I just pulled out my little green Singer 185 yesterday Need to oil her today and get her singing again
I really enjoy watching "slow sewing" videos and find them calming in my hussle filled life! ❣
I love the things you make out of your tiny pieces. The scrappy look is just so happy and nothing goes to waste.
I still use lots of the little small things that my mother-in-law made after she got older. We ask her to do this rather than spend money and we wanted something she did they are treasured by even my grand children thank you

I love the surprises too!🤭
If I learn nothing else, I need to learn to let go of perfection and just sew. You do that better than anyone!
I just love projects like this

So relaxing to just experiment. Ive never sewn a zipper, they intimidate me. I use my small hst’s as the start of my scrappy log-cabin style blocks.
Love it! You never disappoint 💜
