When she became the dark one, she totally control her powers. After the darkness was taken shes still have that control. In season 5 when they go to hades, she teleport herself,Regina and a girl. In season 6 she teleport Henry.
That was the point lol evil aunt lady did it so everyone would be afraid of Emma and Emma would feel alone yada yada she only trust other powered people like evil snow lady
this show had some of the best and worst special effects on TV at the time. overall the magic system is really cool though and I always love the way the day we're at the teleport and puff of smoke?

Exactly she's the savior something she was born to be her parents didnt have magic and belfire didn't have any magic so Henry wouldn't have inherited any magic Emma's magic is savior magic which is strictly hers.
