NAPAKADALING CASSAVA SUMAN RECIPE NA PWEDENG GAWIN NEGOSYO. MAY TWIST NA SIGURADONG PATOK SA PANLASA

- Cassava Suman
Regular Suman Cassava Ingredients:
2 cups cassava, grated & squeezed
3/4 cup brown sugar(more or less)
1/2 cup coconut milk(gata)
1/3 cup coconut/buko meat, strips
1/4 cup powdered milk, optional
1 tsp vanilla essence, optional
Ube Suman Cassava ingredients:
2 cups cassava, grated & squeezed
1/2 cup coconut milk, gata
1/3 cup brown sugar(more if preferred)
5 tbsp ube halaya(more if preferred)
1/4 cup coconut/buko meat, strips(optional)
1 tsp violet food color, optional
Procedure:
1) Squeezed out the juice from the grated cassava
2) Regular Suman Cassava: Combine cassava, brown sugar, coconut milk, coconut/buko meat, powdered milk and vanilla essence
3) Ube Suman Cassava: Combine cassava, coconut milk, brown sugar, ube halaya, coconut/buko meat and violet food color
4) Optional: add fillings(ube halaya and yema filling)
5) Spoon 2 tbsp of mixture onto a banana leaf and roll into a log. Fold banana leaf over the mixture and roll it tightly. Fold both ends to seal it
6) Arrange the suman into the steam bowl and steam for 45-55min. over medium heat
7) Cool completely and serve immediately

@@Kusinachefyes meron putong balanghoy pa rin un, ang gawang bohol ata masarap kasi ung hulmanan nila is ung "bagul"(sori not sure sa tagalog) at pina steam nila gamit ang palayok...! Mron din putong balanghoy na ang hulmanan ay lata ng gatas na alpine..hehehe..nakakamis na pgkain na normadic style..hehehe
