- Puto Balanghoy
This puto is made from grated cassava roots mixed with grated coconut and sugar. Puto Balanghoy is cook in steam and it is filled with bukayo. You can also make different flavors to make this puto extra special.
Ingredients:
1kg cassava, grated
2 cups grated coconuts
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp Ube flavor
1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
Bukayo:
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups grated coconut
Additional filling:
Ube halaya
Chocolate filling

Maganda po niyan pagkatapus pigain ilagay mo sa almires yong kamoteng kahoy na piniga mona dikdikin mo para pino po yong puto tapus yong palaman niya buko yan na kinatandaan ng biyanan ko na pagkakitaan sa lata pa yong steamer 1 by 1 pag steam para po masarap lagyan mo ng anis yong palaman niya pag luto mo po makinis tingnan tapus malambot po yong puto niya
balanghoy Po ba talaga tawag o balinghoy? Nkatikim na ako nyan kaso di ko gusto texture magaspang sa lalamunan may sumasabit😊
Depende sa lugar ang tawag. Sa Bisaya, Ilonggo, Bicolano ang tawag balanghoy or balinghoy. Sa Tagalog nmn kamoteng kahoy
