Ingredients:
4 3/4 cups glutinous rice flour
2 1/2 cups white sugar(less if preferred)
3 cups water
1 tbsp vanilla essence
Filling:
1/2 cup ube halaya
1/2 cup peanut butter
82.50g cheese, pencil size
Coating:
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 cup toasted glutinous rice flour
Procedure:
1) Combine glutinous rice flour, white sugar, water and vanilla essence. Mix it well
2) Pour mixture into a lightly greased
3) Steam for 30min. over med. low heat (water should already be boiling)
4) Cool tikoy completely
5) Cut a small portion of tikoy and flatten it
6) Add filling: ube halaya, peanut butter, cheese
7) Roll the tikoy and seal it
8) Cut excess tikoy and cut into 2" thick
9) Coat tikoy with crushed peanuts or toasted glutinous rice flour

I just made it a while ago chef, kakaubos lang actually hehe. yung palaman is cheese and peanut butter tapos ang ginamit kong pang coating is dinurog na pinipig. And nagustuhan naman ng fam ko hehe yun nga lang nagkaproblema ako sa pag roroll. Sobrang dikit kasi sa kamay since wala akong plastic gloves and yung nilagay nyo sa counter top kaya medyo di maganda pagkakaroll ko. Pero nagustuhan naman nila lalo na ang mother ko. So thank you chef ❤️❤️

Hi! Kusinera chef. Nakagawa na ako minsan ng tikoy from other chef, ang palaman na ginamit ko ay peanut butter. Naku! Ang sarap talaga! Ubos agad yong niluto ko. Ako talaga mahilig magsearch ng ibai
-ibang version sa pagluto to learn more. Maraming maraming salamat sa pagshare ng iyong recipe. Sooo happy may natutuhan akong ibang paraan sa pagluto ng Tikoy. Ito ang gagawin ko mamaya tamang tama ito dahil kanina pa ako nag iisip ng iluluto ko for my family. I'll subscribe for more recipe through your video. God bless.

Aside the crushed peanuts for toppings we can also use sesame seeds
