Dude, this guy is the cleanest, tightest, most consistent drummer I've ever seen. I was never great, but this guy makes me question whether I was even half decent. Good God.
El Estepario does over play, that’s why on some of his videos he puts a warning up that this is not how the song is played! He overplays them because he can and no one else could! He’s showing everyone that he is absolutely the best and through countless seconds, minutes, hours and years of hard work and dedication, still doesn’t settle in where he is but continues to be better than the previous day!ps. One thing I like about your reaction videos is that you give a big enough screen of EL to see what’s going on and also you don’t stop the video 5,000 times! You comment and give props throughout the whole video while letting it play through so we can enjoy not only you commenting but get to enjoy the whole entire song without interruptions!
He's the best freestyle drummer I've seen in modern times on TH-cam but he does over play and breaks all kinds of rules which does always sound cool and hype AF but unsustainable for a whole set live...keep in mind like I said this is a video and sound engineering is most definitely being implemented to spice it up.
I dabbled in drums when I was younger. Learning to drum is like climbing a mountain. The higher you go, the better your skills and the cleaner your technique. This guy makes me realize that I wasn't climbing the mountain at all. I was still in the parking lot. Absolutely unreal skill
The people that say he “over plays” are the people that want to complain about ANYTHING. How’s he “over playing” by adding his own touch and most if not ALL the time improving the song he’s playing. When people are threatened by something different or better they look to knock it down a few pegs to make themselves feel better about it. Well this dude if not perfect, goddamn just about PERFECT. I can’t find any flaws whatsoever in this WIZARDS playing of the drums. Jealousy is a wicked thing and people will lash out when they can’t match up. In my opinion the guy is a drum god and I’m saying that being a HUGE Rush fan for decades and decades. Neil is one of those guys on my Mount Rushmore of drummers. When I found this guy awhile back and have been watching him for a few this guy is going up on MT Rushmore for sure.
Wow the transitions are out of this world. He always puts a spin on things which makes him unique. Would love to hear his back story. This is a guy who loves drums and practices daily. He can make any song his own and NO he doesn’t try to much; it’s just him implementing his own touch!! The triple bass is out of control as well. The rhythm he has is off the chain!! Bring more to the channel!!
2:07 He does a lot with the small kit that he has and maybe that is why people think that. Drummers with bigger kits do the same but with more variety because they have more available.
There are so many who talk about how easy he makes it look. I won't deny that, but it also shows the years of dedication he has put into his practice to GET to the level he is at. Be it the covers with his bits of improvisation almost making it like a live performance with personal flair. Or even his one handed stuff that makes people think "oh he's slowed it down" which he has proved numerous times is false. I would personally love to see a podcast between you and him, that would be epic on so many levels.
Ridiculously good! And considering how many hits we know he can do incredibly quick, he pulls it back a lot ! Dude oozes flavour and you can see how he is just one with the beat! You might just get computer sounds out of him on a podcast. "Loading drum machine". Dude is an absolute machine!
I heard that when you plug a 1/4 inch jack into his ear and then into an amp, you hear those old style dial-up phone sounds,...and then the music starts. My goodness this fella is GOOD! Almost an AI drum machine. But AI couldn't recreate, or even keep up with this.
It is evident that he recharges the songs a bit, due to his virtuosity playing the drums. But it is also evident that he has a very powerful style of his own and is envied by many other drummers. Greeting from Spain.
The vast majority of those who say he overplays are not musicians ( or musically inclined). Which is actually fitting because he caters to those who make up that group ( & sub group). He plays for the people who know what they are looking at...or listening to...as they are the ones whom it is more impressive to impress! Sure, his taste appears to live in speed drumming, but he can play a song note-for-note with the best of them (better, actaully). &, for the initiated, what lies within all of that speed... is pure genius! He does with one hand & a skeleton-crew of a set up, what most cant even do with two hands while SURROUNDED by drums/instruments. Through variation in tempo & time signatures/ timing, limb independence, technique, theory & creativity (getting the most out of each instrument) he demonstrates what can be done! &, when compared against what has been done/is being done.... well... there is no comparison! In case there are any doubters of the concept, This is what comes of a unified consciousness ~ when the heart & mind are one. DREAM BIG...THINK BIG...BE BIG!
Some people play what they can on the drums. He plays what he wants on the drums. This guy is just insane. That would be an awesome podcast, look forward to seeing it.
I like him alot... as a drummer of 35 yrs... he is super fast and tight (sometimes a little off on time signature; only whenever he is trying to put too much fill into a spot where it really shouldn't be....) but his fundamentals are really solid and speed is off the charts... but he does over play from time to time, but I would too if I had his channel with his subs and his skills... if he just played a lick for lack Danny Carey polytythm or something tight as hell it would impress me more than fills where they shouldn't be.... (didn't hear that in this song) but this song was an A.... solid A...
As a 55.yr old musician. I grew up LOVING John Bonham. Because he just OOZED Rhythm. BUT, This dude came outta nowhere. And he HAS IT! With precision and NATURAL RHYTHM FEEL. Neil Peart, yes.. But, he never gave me the perception of feel... Now, my favorite ( Band ) drummer is Danny Carrey.... Along with his band mates of course. But... Respect for my favorite recording Drummer.
His limb independence is that of a God. It's like he splits his brain into 1/4's and individually controls each limb. (Like his video where he plays 4 completely separate beats.) That and when he plays a song, he adds to it. Yes the original is great, it's the original, but he puts his own stamp on it and so the amazing thing is he can do it to almost any song, of any genre.
Dude is one of the sickest drummers out their. He barely moves his shoulders fast as hell not using to much energy!!! Great drummer man. And uses less than most!!!
Long comment here for the person doing the reaction...... You're the one that I go to when I wanna see a drummer reacting to this guy. I'm not a drummer. I'm a guitar player. I can appreciate what this guy is doing because there is nothing like a great drummer Behind you when you're playing guitar. Watching your reactions to this guy reminds me of my reactions when I'm watching Paul Gilbert Or Steve Vai or Vito Bratta. I Watch those guys and I realize no matter how good I get I'm Not even playing the same game let alone being in the same league. And trying to explain the intricacies of what these guys are doing to somebody that doesn't play guitar Is like speaking English to somebody that only understands Chinese. So when I'm watching you reacting to this guy And you look at the camera and you say something like are you guys seeing what's happening here?....... That's entertainment for me because you're being hit With the same thing from this guy as as I'm being hit with when I see Steve perform tender surrender or I see Paul Gilbert do a 10 minute improvised guitar solo in the middle of while my guitar gently weeps. I just find it very cool. So my question for you is this. As a drummer, is this guy as good as Buddy Rich? Is he as good as the professor? Do I say something blasphemous and ask..... is he better? I've never seen anybody doing what this guy does.
He's so fast, tight, and powerful because he feels the music in his very soul...you can see it on his face and in his body movements...and he's probably high 😂❤😂
Definitely like his drumming, one of my favorite people on you tube, actually came across your stuff thru watching his stuff. I'm not a drummer but I'm fascinated with them, been around them my whole life.
I hope to see an interview soon. It's amazing to see how drumming has gone to a new level. This guy is way up there on that level. He makes great transitions at a crazy speed. And I don't think he over plays, he's just that good.
This dude is a fucking monster and I think he adapts and transitions so well that the naysayers have to try to find a fault in his drumming or technique. Good luck ... there are none. They should take his hard work and the results and try to apply those strengths into their own grooves ... haters will be haters. PLEASE get an interview with this guy, you will be one of the first in a very very long line of people that are going to take great interest in his story. He has a recent video that he talks about it, highly recommended view of that. Humble dude the works hard honing his craft, how can you not want to emulate the results he gets? Rock on!
Guy is a beast on the kit. If there are people out there who try to bash him, they are just jealous, simple as that. The answer to see a Podcast of you and Estepario is yes, I would watch it.
I a couple of days ago saw some of this guys teaching / practice routin videos.. n kinda starting to see "why" his so crazy fast n precis in his videos.. n it makes it even better😍😍 highly recommends n would love seeing reactions of those videos of him too😁 im sure you would love them! Much love from sweden n keep up ur fantastic work😊😊
While I'm not really a "Podcast Listener", I would go out of my way to listen to you and EES chat it up. This guy is one helluva drummer! He had me with opening a bottle of beer with a cymbal during a song!
I don't understand how he isn't a part of a huge band yet unless he is and I don't know about it, but he is too damn talented to be just drumming on TH-cam...
He was in Saratoga for a while, which is a rather big-ish band, but apparently left because he wanted to focus on his own project of evolving his drumming and creating content, and touring with a band was too time consuming.
I like his stuff! He's really good at creating impactful short form content. Shorts need to grab their attention fast! In the drumming space; you don't get that playing a nice little groove, people will just scroll away. His one handed covers were a master stroke; not only expertly performed but viral gold..
Yes I would like to see you and EL Estepario have a talk/podcast about how he musicly mastered coordination to the level of ( it's just natural movement ) like he's achieved.
His words "Let's have some fun." I have seen him play just to see how crazy he can make it and seen him do beautiful covers, his skill in my view is unmatched and he does it with an expression of pleasure on his face. I wonder how many hours he put in while others played outside or sat in front of a video game. Some sacrifices are worth it in the end, but the will to get there...
Colby, P.S. If you ever get a chance if you ever get a chance to interview him, not only will I watch it, I better make sure I have enough super glue remover around to loosen my ears from the speakers.
Love playing this song..big fan keep it real..especially to play 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 he is unreal..he's to good man..how just how is he soon fast and powerfull and never miss shit..I love his style to be honest my opinion. And he makes ot look soo easy..he's amazing straight up...that set is sick. A podcast would be super badass brother..🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I like the dude. He’s a really talented drummer. His speed and effortless playing is what a lot of people are impressed by. Alongside the fact he has a minimal drum kit. All the being said, one thing that would be cool to see him do is play to something with more dynamics. Maybe some big band stuff that switches between tempos and different genres of music.
This guy is a badass been around a lot of musicians being that my mother managed bands and booked for local venues as I grew up, there’s a big difference between someone who has the energy and someone who learned it lol
..that's a Yes on the podcast! then to speak to the over playing.. He is doin His thing.. if 'you' want to hear an exact replica, then listen to the original.. 🤷♂️ He is pushing the boundaries to regions beyond what sciences believe are there.. 😂 let it inspire You to play & practice more.. and just enjoy it!! Awesome stuff Colby!! keep Us posted.. pe@ce. 😎🤙
He is a freak of nature. Tight, neat, cleanest chops ever seen! Pure technique and virtuosity. As a spaniard I feel proud, enhorabuena Estepario!!! If you were american you would have millions of followers, thats for sure. But to me lacks of musicality, is pure speed. If you speak Spanish and listen to any interview he clearly says that he doesnt want to be a good musician but a drummer virtuoso… he is clearly there.
People who hate on him it's just because they ain't on his level. Hey people quit hating & start congratulating the best drummer ever. He motivates me. I'm a plumber but he makes me want to be the best plumber ever.❤
This man is from a different universe. It’s not just how clean or fast. It also about how much content this man puts out. He puts out song after song. Half of them one fucking handed. No drummer on TH-cam even comes close. I thought I played the drums. And he’s rather humble considering. Very complimentary of other drummers. This guy is going to be extremely famous. And I mean FAMOUS!! And all you drummers who says he over plays, never establishes a pocket, speeds things up, slows things down. Is cheating somehow. All of he haters need to just zip it and practice a whole lot more. That’s what this guy did. Cause that’s what it takes. But this is a level of drumming that only a handful of drummers will ever reach. He is a drum god. Well let’s just say every beat and ghost note and blast. Is god like. Amen.
Dude, this guy is the cleanest, tightest, most consistent drummer I've ever seen. I was never great, but this guy makes me question whether I was even half decent. Good God.

Everything Ryan said ^^^^
Well done, on both El E.S.' part, and the commentator.

Agreed he love rolling wild the same time😊
Dude killed that intro, well he just kills everything
I was gonna ask "what the heck hasn't he killed?" LMAO!
Yes. It would be really great to hold a lengthy interview about Estepario’s life and how he got to where he is now with his magical drumming.
He has a whole video in his channel talking about his journey. Can’t post the link here.
@@luisbernal7689 I will check it out! Thanks!
@@luisbernal7689🎯

Unbelievable! Best drummer out there....period. A podcast with you and him would be awesome!!! Definitely a big yes from me!!!! 🙋👍👍👍
He plays very clean and precise. Amazing talent especially watching him play more intense songs one handed.
Every video he does, Tiktok.. TH-cam.. blows my mind. Im drummer for 20+ years.. and this is just another level I can't touch.. 💯💯
This guy will change the way the world plays drums. truly AMAZING!
Ridiculously good! And considering how many hits we know he can do incredibly quick, he pulls it back a lot ! Dude oozes flavour and you can see how he is just one with the beat!

lov it he just smokes them all and they are mad sad!!!!!!! he has mad skills and he puts in the work and keeps pushing farther into the unknown
I think the Rev would have loved this cover. He was an amazing drummer in his own right.
He makes it look effortless, he so calm and direct!!!
His limb independence is that of a God. It's like he splits his brain into 1/4's and individually controls each limb. (Like his video where he plays 4 completely separate beats.)

If you watch his hands, the intensity and consistency makes sense. Each hit is the same as the last for the most part. A goat for sure. Has been 😂
Dude is one of the sickest drummers out their. He barely moves his shoulders fast as hell not using to much energy!!! Great drummer man. And uses less than most!!!
Another good turn by El Estepario. Slick and classy.
Dude! A podcast with you and him is a MUST!! Please, make that happen!
This guy is the best I’ve seen. He’s amazing
El Estepario Siberiano is probably the best drummer that I've ever seen. He's sooo damn good!!!
I've never seen anyone as this dude... It sounds perfectly natural as well it's execution. My mind blows out trying to understand his moves kkkkk
Long comment here for the person doing the reaction......

This is one of the few videos where it doesn't sound like he's over playing. This is a great cover!
This dude is just on another plane. so crisp and that single snare roll...which sounds amazing...is ridiculous. He is a BEAST.
This guy is bad ass! And has proven he can possibly do anything! Awesome!
He is fucking bad ass! He makes it look so easy, he’s not even sweating his ass off! Fuck yeah
El will never do an interview unless it's national 😂😂😂 hope your dream comes true. This dude is an effing beast.
This dude is a fucking monster and I think he adapts and transitions so well that the naysayers have to try to find a fault in his drumming or technique. Good luck ... there are none. They should take his hard work and the results and try to apply those strengths into their own grooves ... haters will be haters. Guy is a beast on the kit. If there are people out there who try to bash him, they are just jealous, simple as that. The answer to see a Podcast of you and Estepario is yes, I would watch it.
Yes please have that sit-down with El Estepario. Love the talent and enjoy your reactions to him thank you for everything you do!
I agree, I’m 71 years old and I agree he’s the best drummer in my lifetime
I love your reactions, because it’s pure admiration, no jealousy. You observe and learn even if you already are a pro. I respect you for that a lot 🩷
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

This guy friggin rocks everything he does so clean and persistent
You asked what our favorite video was and all of them is the answer. He is on another level especially at 26.
Yes, he is fantastic and a podcast would be great. 🎉
While I'm not really a "Podcast Listener", I would go out of my way to listen to you and EES chat it up. This guy is one helluva drummer! He had me with opening a bottle of beer with a cymbal during a song!
Please, it would be great. Please let us know when you get the date for the podcast....
That would be a hell of a podcast. I’m a music lover and this is a hell of a song, but this guy elevates everything he plays.

El Estepario Siberiano Drumming is just mind blowing awesome 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪💪👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥁🥁🥁🥁
Yes I do like his drumming love watching him play
Hard hitting fast and super clean. Amazing
El Estapario AND Mike Mangini…. Drum gods of polyrhythm, speed, and accuracy!! Damn.
He is one of my favorite drummers of all time!
Just love the talking over a great performance.
Yes! Please do that podcast. This guy’s a beast. I love watching him.
“A lot of people say he overplays”
A lot of people are mad jealous of how good he is.
I would LOVE absolutely to see that podcast!
This man is phenomenal as a drummer abd is inspiring me at 46 to want to take up the drums!
No me cansaré de repetirlo. Si este fenómeno estuviera en Estados Unidos, estarían locos por ficharlo. No hay palabras para describir su arte
Yes, I would like to see that podcast. Absolutely.
his flavor is spicy and the best
He says he likes jazz alot. Would love to see him shine in that realm
Him playing cover songs = like watching a movie on DVD the original song then watching a movie in 8k ultra HD is his cover
This guy is an absolute beast behind any drum set. I'm not a big fan of podcasts but I would love to see one of you and him!
I don't understand how he isn't a part of a huge band yet unless he is and I don't know about it, but he is too damn talented to be just drumming on TH-cam...
Maybe he isn't that good in song writing. Who knows 🤷🏻♂️
He was in Saratoga for a while, which is a rather big-ish band, but apparently left because he wanted to focus on his own project of evolving his drumming and creating content, and touring with a band was too time consuming.
He has zero competition when it comes to the drums at this time and he has the fastest hands!!!!!!
That is totally awesome hes smooth with the sticks he makes the music come more alive
Definitely would enjoy a podcast like that.
I like his stuff! He's really good at creating impactful short form content. Shorts need to grab their attention fast! Clean, tight, and spot on tech....this guy is a machine! Yes, I would love to gear more about him and from him-do the pod!!❤
Absolutely fantastic - PERIOD!
What an unbelievable drummer!
Om my gosh yes please sit with him and interview him. I would love that
I like the dude.
He is pushing the boundaries to regions beyond what sciences believe are there..
Amen.
Yes. Do it. Get it done. Btw. Thanks for your format. This is the best way to do a review. Well done.
Every cover I feel like I’m hearing it for the first time. And would def watch that pod
