I had it too. ACR have become a forgotten gem. I don't think you will see a vast fortune made on your antique in the near future. But in 200 years, who knows? A great song.
For me, ACR were a group who made 10 songs I was indifferent to, and 1 I fell in love with...oh, so much better than indifferent "it's alright"...this is one of those love songs. Fabulous!
What did happen to that last verse??? I had to go play it on my stereo after watching this video. Danced my ass off, yes I did. Especially during that last verse. Guess they ran out of video footage.
@Stereolabdream .. love the song, but if a person's going to take the music experience to a new level or dimension, gotta make it match.. kinda like when books are made into movies, and idiots get frustrated all the time, right?
What an absolutely marvelous video for this song...hodthesausage must be an idiot...or at least without an imagination...still...ACR fans ought to stick together...
Just found 12” of this for 99p in my local British Heart Foundation. Winning. 👊🏻
Ayy I recently got the 12" too:)

I remember this song being played in New York back in the day and liking it but Johnny Marr's autobiography took me here to revisit it.

In the wonderfully hit and miss world that belonged to ACR, this was definitely a Goodie! I'll have to dig this one out of my old record collection...

Best song of the mid-80s that I'm too embarrassed to have anybody catch me listening to.

Where is this footage from ? Was it in a documentary?
It's called Holiday (1957)
