    To echo the other comments, this guy is great. Listened to him as a kid in the 80s because my step dad loved him. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I listen to him. Long live Mr. Sherman and his talent

      His book, The Rape of the A.P.E., is also quite the manifesto. Completed just a year before he died.

    "They even took Batman off the TV screen to show the rebel."
    It's easy to forget that there was outrage from Batman fans in 1966 when ABC News interrupted an episode of "Batman" to give a bulletin about about the emergency landing of Gemini 8 spacecraft, and received a lot of protest letters from viewers over the interruption. Allan must have taken notice about the event.
    As for LBJ's profanity , he was one of the most vulgar & profane presidents in history (along with Richard Nixon, Andrew Jackson and Donald Trump) and said much worse offensive language than "heck".

      Nixon and Trump probably wouldn't say worse than cunt.
      Jackson and Johnson would say the n word. :p

      I loved it too. Not sure about the lyrics but the harpsichord is wonderful

      Played by Dr. Demento, I presume? He would have played it.

    • @ChristopherSlim
      @ChristopherSlim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i don't think it's a parody. i'm relatively sure it's an original comedy song.

      It's reminiscent of "Big Bad John" to me.
