Lady Carnarvon visited the Newport Mansions during the Summer of 2022 to discuss the challenges of running a nearly 300-room English estate complete with a farm and gardens, and the importance of preservation and sustainability. Her home, Highclere Castle, is best known as the setting for the wildly successful PBS series, “Downton Abbey,” which ran for six seasons and spawned two feature films.
