  • The kitchen at Highclere is now a 21st Century kitchen, capable of dealing with large dinner parties and as well the visitors who come to the castle every day for lunch and afternoon tea.
There are however little throwbacks to the past that Mrs Patmore couldn't do without.
Join Lady Carnarvon and head chef Paul Brooke-Taylor as they rediscover these throwbacks.

I love the mixture of the past and present not just in the kitchen but in the entire house. I love these videos. Thank you so much for doing them!

I am making the food for a Highclere Castle Gin tasting event tomorrow evening! I'm very happy to learn more about this wonderful castle and the occupants and chef. What wonderful history and gorgeous kitchen! Thank you for sharing!

I love the reference to the Country House Secrets show with Mary Berry, it certainly was a wonderfully made show and presented Highclere in such a special way... What a joy to watch.

It's wonderful that Lady Carnarvon actually has a genuine interest in the house and its history. There are some in a similar position who don't.
