The told us that we could do it. It's natural and hard to avoid. No one could be blackmailed for doing it. They suggested that the best place was the gang showers. But none us in our unit did it. It is true that they keep you so stressed that you don't get a chance to think about it. Towards the end of boot camp there is less stress and more time. I talked with guys in other units and they all did it in the showers at the same time.
We had no privacy. I don't think anyone was embarrassed about anything. Not embarrassed about morning wood. In fact, be proud of it! I think the speaker, and the younger generation has too many hang-ups.

Was n Australian Army. Was so stressed it took me a full month to even remember that I hadn't done it in a while. After that it was a once a day affair while everyone else was in class. Nothing better than to know your being paid to have a wank, and civilians will be shaking that same hand & thanking you for your service in the near future.

When I was in boot camp, I never once noticed no mornin wood. Course cause I’m a female, but how many females will be lookin for that in such a stressful environment. Unless she a hoe, females are mostly blind to it 👍

My friend is a Marine and shared with me a story from bootcamp. His DI was poking the ceiling tiles looking for contraband when suddenly a crusty sock fell on his face. The other DIs could barely keep themselves together and went into their rooms to breakout laughing. The urge to fap is real in the corps.

I went to job corps and it was against policy to do the hand. I think they called it something like 'you are currently a government property and that is unsanitary and damage to government property'. I don't remember exactly but something like that. and ya I know job corps isn't military but it relates as being government property and living in dorms with set rules.
"No stalls in the bathroom" is false; that's specific only to Marine Corps. I was in the Army at Fort Leonard Wood and there were stalls.
yes I was also at Leonard Wood and Echo 3-10 had stalls.
In1989 USAF Lackland AFB, TX. 3703rd BMTS had no stalls, just a line of 10 or 12 toilets in a row. Same with urinals. Showers were one large open room.

in my platoon there was a recruit that jacked it just about every night you knew he was doing it because the rack he was in would squeak for about 3 minutes and suddenly stop and the duty officer came on deck and he was basically caught and he got into deep shit because of it and he was dropped wether or not he was kicked out or had to be held back until the next cycle nobody ever knew but everyone was glad because 1) it was really gross and disrespectful and 2) he was the shit bag

At Great Lakes I think we had 6 shitter stalls in the head but we were only allowed to use 5. The 6th was incase you had blue balls. Not once did that stall get opened.
I remember when I went though Navy Boot Camp a few months ago, the Chaplain came in and talked to our division and said "You WILL not masturbate while in boot camp". TBH, my division never really talked about it because we were always so busy, by the time we hit our racks we were too exhausted to think about masturbating, but we talked to other divisions and they would basically just keep it on the down-low. Like they would put something on the outside of their rack to show they want a bit of privacy and not to talk to them, or they took a stall in the head and made that the official "Fapping stall" where they would take care of business. I honestly didn't really ever bother too because I just never felt the desire too, there's a lot of stress and it never really crossed my mind.

My friend was a cook at San Diego MCRD and he told me they loaded down the food with MSG monosodium gluminate which is basically salt peter to keep you from getting a hard on. I still woke up with morning wood, everyone did, it was obvious. But it went away real quick with morning hygiene , breakfast and PT.

I swear that one of those pills they give you in receiving is supposed to kill your libido for close to 90 days. Most of our platoon, at least the ones I talked to, never even got an urge. You are so busy, tired and around dudes all the time, I don't know how you would ever get the urge.

I am an Air Force veteran. When I went through at Lackland AFB in 1981 we were required to drink at least 2 glasses of water at chow. I always heard the scuttlebutt that saltpeter was added to the water to curb your sex drive. 😆
