2:35 p.m. Helpful. Mine isn't working properly and I can't figure out how to fix it.. I have had it probably two years. I replaced batteries and it still is not working.
This is copied from a late fifties or early sixties manual can opener. My mother had one. Metal gears just like the gear here that grabs the lid. It had a wooden handle that you turned as you held the jar with your hand. It worked perfectly. Mom gutted and remodeled the 1940's kitchen in the early 70's and we never found some stuff that we had removed and this was one of them. Of coarse she had a RIVAL electric can opener by then.
Yes Qvc showed it again last night and I was going to buy but read reviews and it was so many negative reviews. I will wait and if you go to qvc.com website you can see video on how to use it.
You have to let it reset after it opens a jar. It always starts from the assumption it has to be ready to open the largest jar it can. If it opens a tiny ketchup bottle top, after opening it, it will naturally open the jaws to be ready for the next task. Perhaps you might consider familiarizing yourself with the operating instructions before recording?
I was surprised.....it works really well!
BBQ PIT DOG Si was I! Thanks for Watching Rob!

I accidentally put a can in this opener and now it’s stuck. How do you reset it and get the can out
Thanks for watching! Not sure
