Two things. I tried Brush with Bamboo toothbrushes and I liked them. then I decided to try something else and found that the Kooler Things bamboo tooth brushes were AMAZING and so cheap! I got 8 of them for about $10 on Amazon. I love them and my husband and I are in toothbrushes for a year for $10!! Also for Americans (they may ship world wide too) Dental Lace (DentalLace.com) is fantastic! Also comes in a glass vial with metal screw on lid. they come in Silk and Vegan. They come with refills and you can purchase just the refills. The packaging says it comes in compostable plastic, which is a plus! Great coffee cup! :) NEVER clean the inside, only rinse after use. Let that seasoning build up just like on cast iron pans. Cowboy coffee is the best! Happy to come across your channel. You're a comfortable and gentle soul.

Cute video Kate! I recommend Glerups if you are after a new pair of house slippers. They are Danish design and made from felted wool with leather soles. Incredibly durable and warm. Also, easy to wash. I have had mine for over two years and they show minimal wear/tear. I found customer service (at least the Canadian one which is my point of reference) to be extremely helpful with any ethical/material questions I had as well. I'm not at all saying you need new slippers (gawd, I really hope I don't sound like the jerk who is dissing holey house shoes!), but it is always nice to share brands and products we are loving. : )

Could you tell us how you liked that toothpaste? I really want to get one along with the toothbrush, but the shipping alone to Norway is 20 euro.. Maybe you could try Georganics toothpaste as well? It seems to have really great reviews and comes in a glass container.
Where do you get the floss? Is it compostable?
I've recently changed to shampoo & conditioner bar, as well as bar soap! the shampoo bar is a bit difficult to use on my hair but i've made it work somehow after a month :^)

Eight Hours Studio pyjamas are nice but so expensive. £95 for PJ bottoms is very steep.
I loved this Kate! I so wish that I could use baking soda. It truly works wonders in terms of odor but my armpits just can't handle it. I am not sensitive skin by nature but man after a week my armpits are darker, the skin feels like harden leather and then they start to peel. It is horrible and not to mention terribly itchy. It makes it really hard to find a natural deo that keeps odor at bay because they all contain baking soda. So basically, long story short, I am extremely envious that you are able to use it problem free haha
Lisette Rossman me too. I get leather armpits from straight baking powder. I use a recipe from mommypotomus.com to make my own skin friendly deo. it works!
I use 1 drop of Palmarosa essential oil per armpit after a shower, it works perfectly and smells nice ! If you need to moisturise, you can add some oil too ;)
Way late, but I actually use essential oils (whatever I'm feeling at the time), almond oil and witch hazel. It is magical, so that once I have been using it for a while I'm not so odorous on the days I skip.

Emily Hodgson Me too! That totally stuck out to me. I have Lush tins, but they don't work for my "good bar" soaps from Whole Foods.
I think it is from Lush, they have a few different sizes for their soaps that you can buy in the stores

There are 3 documentaries that are really good to watch in order to see how our daily choices effect others, our own health and the planet. Forks over Knives (health), Cowspiracy (environment) and Earthlings (ethics).
What I discovered is that Animal Agriculture is responsible for A LOT of the problems we have in the world today, it's the LEADING CAUSE of every known environmental ill on Earth! (see Cowspiracy) For example it's responsible for 91% of Amazon Rainforest Destruction/Deforestation, Species Extinction, Ocean Deadzones, Water Scarcity, Global Warming, World Hunger... There is enough food being produced right now to feed every human in the world, but instead of feeding the worlds hungry we feed it to animals/livestock.
Scientists predict that if we continue like this, there won't be any fish left in the oceans by 2048.. And if the oceans die, we die...
That's why I try to share this important message ❤
We kill trillions of animals each year, but we don't need to for our health.
So besides that the animal agriculture is destroying our planet, eating animals and animal products is also not beneficial at all for human health. It is scientifically proven that out of the top 15 reasons people die, 14 out of 15 can be prevented with a plant-based diet, more then half of the diseases can be treated and in some cases the progression of the disease can even be reversed, including our top 3 killers! (see Uprooting the Leading Causes of Death or Forks over Knives) So we don't need to eat animals for our health, in fact we can truly thrive without it. Check out Vegan Athletes or Vegan Bodybuilders ^_^ There's a lot of them! For example the World Record Holding Strongman Patrik Baboumian is vegan!
We all say we love animals or at least we are against animal cruelty.
That's all veganism is ^_^ We stop contributing to unnecessary cruelty and violence and start living in alignment with our own core-values of nonviolence, respect, justice, compassion.❤ For the People, For the Planet, For the Animals ❤ Much LOVE ^_^
I've literally never seen non-Americans electively listen to Country.
I don't function until I brush n wash my face... won't look at anyone or talk straight to the loo brush wash n then anything else in the world. I think I won't try to save myself in the event of emergency I will brush wash my face n then go.
