It's kind of insane how influential this character became with just a few lines of dialogue. He barely shows up in the games but every second and word is memorable
He is incredibly useful for a lot of boss fights
This guy really helps a lot in the battle against Ornstein and Smough, and given that Ds1 was probably most people's first souls game, they participated in a lot of jolly co-operation lol

Solaire seems so normal when you first meet him, but once you know his lore you realize what a badass he actually is. Amazing character.
@@2isthebestnumber99 he willingly became undead like your character (the chosen undead). He wanted to try and find his sun. He set out across lordran. Progressing through the word with ease, due to his dedication and training. He's quite the strong warrior lore wise and also very helpful to us the player. If you decide to save him it's speculated that after he helps you beat Gwyn he then goes on to do the same in his world, beating Gwyn himself then linking the fire and finally finding his sun 🌞

@@flladikulla8102 I forgot the episode name, but it’s ripped from a season 1 adventure time episode where Finn and Jake have to transport some desserts across a dangerous land to a special ceremony for the Candy Kingdom. There’s a character called the Royal Tart Toter who used to do this task but went senile before the beginning of the episode and out of nowhere he shows up at the end and goes off on the above rant.
Just look up “royal tart toter” and you should find the quote on TH-cam.
