1:40:10 you can hear the crowd realize he’s taking off the chains, understandably so. To me this was proof that it was the end of Slayer’s journey, to throw drum sticks and guitar picks to the crowd as memorabilia is one thing, but to take off a part of the image people know of you, that’s a sign it’s done.
Considering I didn’t get to see them yet, I hope everyone at this concert gets cancer. I’m that fuckin petty.

This was my first concert and one of the best days in my pitiful 15 years of life. Everyone was screaming Slayer outside and yelling back was a very special connection. No better feeling than screaming FUCKING SLAYER midway through a piss.

So fucking stoked I got to catch them on this final tour. The energy at these concerts is legendary. During Raining Blood the crowd looks and feels like a writhing hellscape out of a medieval painting.

I agree that Lombardo and Jeff were an important part of Slayer and it's really hard to fill their shoes but Gary and Paul did a great job of keeping Slayer together after the death of Hanneman and after Lombardo left the band

Their performance was flawless till the very end. Slayer started and ended as the one and only. Much respect from Japan.
It's an era of metal. Their contribution is enormous. Slayer showed us the power of the Dark side. They may yet return as Emperor Palpatine in episode 9 of SJW Star Wars. Tom will rest on his farm and remember how they lit stage lights all over the world. Bored will call Kerry and tell us it's time to go back brother. We'll wait for them. Now, a little sad that we're all not getting any younger and in the end all go to other worlds. But the main thing is to be young at heart. Many thanks to Slayer guys who gave so many beautiful emotions to people around the world, with their powerful music. I want to wish them health, as well as you brothers and sisters, health and good luck. Take care. Big respect from Russian Federation.

Been a Slayer fan since 85 at 11 years old, 1st song heard was Chemical Warfare from Haunting, and was hooked ever since. Can't even describe how I feel about this being the last show. Feelings aside I watched both videos by H Wal and DoubleAdaFool at the same time on my Laptop and stereo and synced to the best of my drunken abilities. Thank you SLAAAAAAYEEEEEEEERRRRRRR

Grateful to have had the chance to see them in their farewell tour and raining the way it was, was the most metal shit I’ve seen. It was at the resurrection fest in Spain. Absolutely amazing way to say goodbye.
I started listening to Slayer 5 months ago. I was horrified and thought "how people enjoy this?" but I fell in love with them and I swear I cant stop listening to them. I even want to start playing drums thanks to the GOAT Lombardo. Watching this farewell breaks my heart even though I already knew they retired. I cant imagine how Slayer fans felt back in 2019. I am also Metallica fan so when they retire, I will feel that same pain as Slayer fans did. These dudes really wrote story like almost nobody else did.

Every band wants to be big and sell out stadiums but you fans are so selfish that you want your precious bands to play in small venues for +30 years and never evolve and achieve big things. Accept it and grow up.
Darkened Alcoholic Missed the point there. Slayer doesn’t suit this kind of venue at all. Rather be up close. I’ve seen them in both settings with different line ups from 1995 to now... and the smaller venues destroyed the bigger. Metal needs interaction.
I was fortunate enough to catch SLAYER during their HELL AWAITS tour back in the day. It was my first experience in a circle/mosh pit and it was GLORIOUS!!!

There was a show in my town but it was an over 18s gig so i couldnt go. Now i will never get too see them live. But hey at least i have all the vinyl so i can listen whenever i want. Wont forget the good memories of thrashin out too some good ol' slayer

Fuck - An era has ended... First saw Slayer aged 16 at Wembley Arena in 1990 - a few songs from that ended up on Decade of Aggression, through Divine Intervention in '93 (Hung out outside with these guys Rob and Chris who were in a band we hadn't heard of called Machine Head). Later at Donington getting one side of my face sunburned watching the bands, monster shows in 2006 ish with Dave Lombardo. Last time in Manchester in 2015! - It's like my youth has retired and I'm gonna have to be a grown-up.... soon! 😁

This show topped my other Slayer shows. Chemical Warfare was another level. Slayer=fine wine.

I was very fortunate to attend this last show. One part that stood out and will always recall is FUCKIN SLAYER opening with SOH. I loved it all. Born of Fire should have set the Forum ablaze. Playing Show no mercy and AOD...then King dropping his chains and Toms heartfelt TY and see you later
Also, as a fan, who got seats in the way back, I saw the crowd on the floor just standing there and was pissed I couldnt access the floor. But back in 2014, I had the same dilemma in that place. Stuck on 2nd floor where the 10 ftdrop was right in front of me. Somewhere around the last 3 songs, I decided to climb down. Fucked up my ankle pretty good, yet hobbled my ass to the pit.
