that entire day was so surreal from my bus ride, buying merch outside and seeing "SLAYER" across the top of The Forum. All I kept thinking about was so many people have seen Slayer over the years, in countless cities all over the world and the band has influenced so many people--to think this is the end and I'm going to witness their final show. I've seen Slayer several times before in other cities and the energy is always high, but that night it was off the charts because everyone just knew and really wanted to hold that feeling. It was a supreme honor to be there !!
People can say what they want king cam play solos and it just goes to show you how good of a gutiuar player Jeff was Gary is a beast and he says he docent play Jeff's solos exactly like Jeff did out of respect to him Jeff solos were legendary sounding and has riffs are some of the greatest ever Tom. Is a beast singing and playing bass the man us underrated Paul is underatted to thanks Dave you were a beast on the drums man. It sucks you could not be here for the last show to at least play a few songs. Slayer the greatest thrash metal band ever heavy metal too my test is in whiskey and weed and slayer its goodman electric
I wish slayer would of played more songs since this was the last time 3 hour set would of been cool in guessing they played two nights. Thank you slayer you changed my mine towards music forever thank you for opening my eyes to the be St music ever made
Anselmo and the Illegals, Ministry and Primus. Highlight for me was Primus performing RUSH's Cygnus X-1 on 11/29. the video intro on 11/30 was definitely cool (and funny- a lot of FUCKING SLAAAAAAAYERRRRRR!!!)
part of the big four ??????? I say hell noooooooooooo....... Slayer has remained true to who and what they are and were for 40 years.... Meatllica hell no... anything after their black album is shit....Anthrax massive shame for im the man.... and they truly became do I dare say it... a hard pop band... they lost their way many years ago... Megadeth... still a good solid band but turned soft..... SLAYER has stayed hard fast and in your face and has not changed.... so I ask you who is the big four.... take 3 away and you have THE BIG ONE....... SLAYER !!!!!!!!
Don’t get me wrong I love slayer. But when Jeff died imo they should have stopped then. Gary is an outstanding guitarist it’s just that Jeff is the glue of slayer.
