Javier I wrote you the other day. I told you I told you I want to write the names of my family members on some glass angels, but I forgot to ask you what size o what kind of bit I have to use. Please help me with this. thank you.
Lilian Arenales I'd say try the small fine tip Arkansas stone. Writing cursive or block letters is hard even if you follow pre drawn outlines, so you might want to practice on an old piece of glass before tackling the final piece. some people do actual chemical etching for that aspect, others do sandblasting, another option is vinyl cut decals. Doing it with bits is possible however so you can try it to see how it looks.
Try this. Put a making tape on the glass, write on it using big boss letters. Cut out the writing with a craft knife. Now engrave using stone or diamond burr. Remove all making tape. Done !
