That was a fuse. The relays are the little black boxes. The D2's can suffer from that. It's a fault in the ABS block. Wardy's Works have done some work on a D2 ABS unit. Might be worth a look. Normally it's one of the wheel sensors that goes out.
Thanks Derek, I’ll have a look. Someone else pointed out on facebook that the relay is in the ABS module and apparently there’s another fuse for the ABS in fuse box under the dash as well. All good fun and games lol
Does anyone know where I can get an ABS device that will also ship to Germany? (for a 2000 model v6) or I'll have it sent to my aunt in New Jersey if there's no other option
If it’s an ABS testing device you want, I think they’re only available to dealerships. If it’s the plug in box under the bonnet, you might get one from rock auto in the states
You can find them but it takes a while, there is a place that rebuilds them, can’t remember the name right now though, try searching on google for ABS pump rebuild
Thanks for this! I noticed the little ABS test box and thought I needed another device to decode, much appreciated!
Ford did make some good cars, not so today with the exception of the Mustang.
Great little informative video
Thank you.
Even the new Mustang is fraught with problems, nothings as good as it used to be sadly

@@DoubleZeroGarage abs control unit module i mean.
I was testing today but it doesn't even find ABS but everything else
The ABS control unit is obsolete now, you’ll only get a second hand one in the states. I had to import one for the mustang in the video.
