I've riden the normal renegade and I did like it, but IDK how evolve has released two renegades and neither are gear drive. (pretty much a must for off roading)
yeah, gear drive is great for off roading for peace of mind, but also limits you as far as gear ratio and wheel selection. with belt drive you can gear yourself differently pending your needs which im not upset at all with but yeah gear drive is the trend
no sir! it is the hover x1 i did a full review on this drone here th-cam.com/video/y-hkdye5xiU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c7vKiXjVzvqG1WrM now they are releasing a new version the x 1 pro and pro max which i preordered and will be making a review on it. the x 1 pro and pro max are better than the dji NEO more money but better quality and follow feature

EXPENSIVE!!! Drew would you pay $2699??? I remember when Evolve didn’t allow Bindings at Oz Comp… (Now they’re on this 😂 Learnt) 1)ESC Overheats& Cuts Power to Slow/Safe Mode 😢 2)Don’t take it anywhere Rocky or Rugged because 🪫 Case Gonna get Bashed Up! 3)Oh& Axles are too small/weak… Other than those few points-LiteWeight&Improvement on old Evolve Boards 👍
So I’ve always learned to never sell out of your own pocket, is it expensive absolutely. But people are willing to pay for it and that’s totally fine you can’t fault people for wanting to buy what they want. As far as claims with over heating I’ve been riding the carbon and the renegade and never had any issues, the renegade has been off roading on gravel trails, grassy area and never had an issues with cut out or lack of power. The only time I’ve experienced the “safe mode” is under hard acceleration off the line and about after 10 seconds of just full throttle I get a vibration warning in the remote and I know to back off or it’ll kick down to sports mode. But at 10 seconds of hard acceleration you’re into 30 plus mph for about 7 of the seconds already so I normally back off before than. The case is actually really resilient, I’ve scratched it up and hit rooks and what not and it’s not digging out like other plastic cases. It’s different material. But I wouldn’t take this board in rocky terrain anyways, honestly I wouldn’t want to ride any board in Rocky terrain cause it just sucks to ride over that. Give me packed dirt bike path with some banks and I’m having a good time. Axels I would agree to beef them up, I’m a heavier rider and if you plan on jumping this a lot you need reinforcement on certain points. But I’ve been again jumping and riding and sliding and no issues yet. I’ll report if I do. Overall, price is subjective to the person paying it. I don’t have $2700 to spend on a board right now, but someone does. And this board feels really good under the feet. Light weight, snappy, range and power, still can be throw in a car easily or carried into a store without questions. But that’s why we have other companies out there to offer different products.
@ Amazing! And when it comes to comfort, which one do you prefer to ride the most? Keeping in mind battery performance, as well as ride experience and velocity.
The carbon has well over 150 miles on it right now and it’s a stiff ride but the ability to changed out wheels is why I find myself riding it the most, the renegade is a fantastic flexy deck board but sometimes I just want that thane feeling and with the newest 97 mm wheels they just put out or the mad 105 v2 I find myself gravitating towards the carbon more and more!
They made it too responsive for the current hardware, needs longer motor mounts/belts for more teeth engagement on the motor pulley (idk how many teeth they’re using on that now but more would be better for combating belt slip also - the DIY scene went through this like 6+ years ago when 63mm motors weren’t a thing in production boards)
That board looks like so much fun
What up Ronnie! welcome back saw your video glad to see you're doing well!

One more time, a great review. 😍
Thank you thank you!
Fantastic Drew. Well done
thank you brother greatly appreciated!
This is why I subscribe. For THIS.
Hope you enjoyed!
Nice sideways action on the grass, and wheelies. Never fall backwards on concrete trying wheelies with front bindings, it hurts. lol
Very true! 😂 thanks for checking out the video!
I'm surprised the flatulence didn't help with longer wheelies
Oh but it did! 🤣
Ha very cool!! Seriously got me considering to add to my lineup lol great vid 🤙🏻
Go for it!
Awesome fun review 👊
Thanks! 👍
I'd be interested in seeing review like this with bindings for the nyx z3 and see what kind of things you can get done with that, awesome review
Nyx Z1 > renegade
yes, i have to get myself a pair of the bindings but i will be testing multiple boards that have binding adapters on them!
Nyx 3 hands down it’s not close
Looks like a blast!
it is a blast!
Bindings seems odd but I would love to try it.
It totally changes how eskate feels
Are you using the DJI Neo on that pitch to film yourself?

Cool edit man! I'd go no bindings option, not into bondage 😂

Id choose MBoards endurance but dont tell anyone ;P
Haha, alright I won’t let anyone know… 😂
Do you have the full bindings or the toe straps?
I have the full heel and toe, but I only put the toe on in this video
Weird, I have n1 and my belt is slipping as well while accelerating in S/S+. The belts are pretty tight
Needs more teeth engagement on the motor pulley, longer belts/motor mounts if not higher teeth count
I have the Z1 and no slip because its gear drive. Belt drive on an off road board isn't well thought out
@@ajplant96 It has stock belts. Thought acedeck made them good enough for their esc
Needs a Geardrive option at that price
Gear drive is great but not always needed. I like the belt drive on boards for flexibility of wheel selection or changing out gear ratios
nice
🙏🏼 appreciate it
So you’re saying that the Diablo Carbon has more range, battery capability than the Renegade?
the carbon has potentially more range due to the ability to run thane style wheels! that's why that advertised range cane be more than the renegade.
@ Amazing! And when it comes to comfort, which one do you prefer to ride the most? Keeping in mind battery performance, as well as ride experience and velocity.

😂😂😂😂 but on a serious note what’s with the belt slipping on the Diablos?

Just needs to adjust the tension, first ride the threads stretch and the motors shift.
@@ajplant96 Thanks for the great info!

I want to see you hop on and oof curbs at least. the faster the better.
In the first renegade video I was jumping off curbs I believe. It’s a fun board game
