Hey all, a comrade brought to my attention something that I should have thought to include in the video: If you choose to appear on camera, you’re adding a certain level of personal risk. Being recognized in public by the far-right is always dangerous, and that’s something to consider very carefully when deciding whether to appear on camera.
Hey mate. I make propaganda images instead of videos. Well I mainly repurpose already existing propaganda and modernize it, but still... One thing I get asked somewhat frequently is "what can I do to fight fascism?" This is a question that I would love to see a video dedicated to as it would go hand in hand with this subject. We can make our propaganda, educate others, & gather strength in numbers, but a resource we can point others to on how to fight fascism before armed revolution would be really beneficial!
You literally consider the Democrats far right and the Centrists helping the far right (and the Republicans far right). You call all of them far right because they aren't far left (which usually ends poorly for some people)
@@will823 Second Thought was saying how a majority of those parties were just fascist, not that some people in it might be fascist in his videos I recall
Wow this was actually a genuinely great intro to making any kind of video content. I'm definitely going to share this video when people ask me about making content. One thing I've found to be very important, that you briefly touched upon, is that you should write how you speak, not how you write. I read my scripts out loud over and over as I'm writing them, and if it sounds weird to say, then I re-write it. I also re-write any line that I read out loud incorrectly more than 3 times, because that means I'm trying to write something in a different way than how I'd say it. All of this makes the script sound much more conversational and natural, and that makes it much easier to listen to. And the part about video is so true. People will sit through bad video or even still images, but they won't sit through bad quality or echoy audio. The nice camera is the last thing to buy.
Hey, great to see you here! Yep, exactly right. I’ve learned over the years which words I stumble over, how long a sentence can be before I run out of of breath, little things like that that you wouldn’t think of at first. It makes such a big difference when you start catering to the narration.
keep forgetting europeans are much more open to leftist media and politics than US. Like I could never imagine Mr. Beast leaving a comment here. But NJB isn't surprising, but still nice to see.
@@SecondThought I've enjoyed every minuite. How about a monthly or quarterly throwback. Like a few of the ones you think are your best uploads to show some of our new friends? Examples What if NASA had the US Military's Budget? How Many Nukes Would it Take to Eradicate Humanity? What if People Stopped Dying? to name a few
As a former journalism student, I can confirm that unbiased media does not exist. It's one of the earliest things that you are tought during the career.
I study Communication Science among my current department of Visual Comms Design, and yes, the fact of "unbiased" media being a giant lie was unsurprisingly the first topic to study during my midterms. Graduated from the first semester btw.
@@eges72this seems like pretty rudimentary knowledge, why is the public made aware of this. I had always stayed away from politics, I preferred to think about numbers, machines, and the world beyond the mundane. But now, I started to realise that politics is just as interesting as any other scientific direction. I have just started out, and spend a lot of time searching for unbiased study material. As someone who spent most my childhood hating social sciences and being amazed by natural sciences, I overlooked the human nature, of course any and every statement could be true or false 😅, I just took facts as the truth, in reality, they are our assumption of the truth, and assumption may change. In politics these assumptions seem to be hard to nail down. So I have to take different approach in studying politics. People say math is hard, but in math the definitions are written in concise symbolic language, with every symbol having an explanation. I find reading through political definitions and arguments confusing.
@@SecondThought you have a natural skill at conveying your ideas. You can talk about something that I'm strictly against of and I would still listen. You are epitome of a good storyteller.
You're definitely one of the best "leftist TH-camrs" at getting your points across so the audience actually learns something useful (unlike the majority tbh, who will make an hour-long video that's 90 percent jokes and unnecessary drama school stuff)
i hope this is not a shade on queen Natalie of the Contrapoints. You may not love the ✨ gay drama ✨ but the social analysis is always on point. Same with Philosophy Tube. Of course, neither could really be counted as ‘majority’ but they both do the drama and do it well. Personally I dislike the utilitarian youtuber setups with one neat wall and absolutely no scenery, especially one that’s relevant to the topic in some way. To me they feel templated. The same wall but with slightly different decorations that are always minimal and conforming to the most primitive aesthetic impulses, it’s nice to watch until you think about it. If I didn’t want to watch something nice, I’d find a podcast, because then at least I can do something else while listening rather than feeling like I’m missing out on something. Still, this channel has some things to say that are quite enjoyable and making productions out of each video is why Contrapoints and PT both take at least a month between videos. There is a balance to be struck, but one simply does not shit on long form video essays where not only did someone bother researching and writing them, they also produced them in a visually interesting way.
A few months ago I watched this video and I thought it was a joke, little did I know that this would make me a socialist. I am now working to establish a newspaper for teens about socialism (I am 14 years old) but you have really opened my eyes and helped me understand socialism, and as a fun fact my seal of civic readiness project was about socialism and how good it would be for America. So all and all thank you for opening my eyes!
Regardless of whether you are a socialist or not, anyone who conveys knowledge that helps people and makes the world a better place will be welcomed anywhere. Good luck!
One of the things I've always appreciated about socialists and communists is that they stand behind their conviction and don't have to go around deceiving people, like many religious and traditional organizations do to gays, trans and pregnant women, or like the capitalist class has to in order to maintain power. We're free to be truthful because our conclusions come from sincere education, research and practice. The worst you'll find is someone scared of anti-communism, so they stay closeted. In a strange way, anti-communism has made the population so ignorant that they've made contemporary socialism select for the highly intelligent and the disaffected. Nobody finds themselves accidentally believing in socialism for reasons they don't fully understand, like with capitalism.
It kinda sucks because we have to. If it ever "comes out" that we're socialist/communist, inevitable are the endless barrage of questions to justify our positions against generations of capitalist propaganda. It sucks for me, because I have a terrible memory and don't really have too much an interest to read whole books and papers just to be able to answer "but communism killed 100 billion people" in a satisfactory way.
Indeed earlier socialism was for the working class and the people who were mostly poor. Now socialism is more for intellectuals. Often times the poor working class defends capitalism though it is what brought them their misery. This shows the degree of indoctrination of the media that socialism is bad and the less educated someone is the less they question it.
Given that a core tenant of socialism is equality, that means that socialist don't have to deal with the cognitive dissonance that is inherent to hierarchal economic structures.

The fun part about making this overview is that JT's video is so well structured, that I was able to find the timestamps really easily. I decided on the naming of each section purely by virtue of the topics discussed during said section. It was fun to try and make the titles as short and encompassing as possible while leaving room for curiosity. Just by looking at the result and JT's own overview, they both line up really well. (Is there any section you would have named differently? I'm curious!) I actually learned a good deal about video structuring by making this overview!
This kind of text seem to mark the video bar in some videos I've noticed. Makes it soo much easier to navigate. I assume that's done automatically if one puts it in the description? If so please make that happen :)
I'm a videographer/media developer for a large nursing education company and I gotta say, these tips are top notch! The only thing I would add is if you're using a static camera and your phone is free - get an inexpensive tripod and set it up for a secondary angle. Then you have even more options to hide cuts. Great job JT!
Multi angle shots are very useful for retention. But this depends on situation; a youtuber like Gigguk would never need this tactic. But MKBHD has to use it.
Once again JT, you have made my soul smile. Not many people get it. By it, I mean, the goodness in socialism. Your incredible talent for storytelling and narration being used to inform and educate everyone is impeccable. Now add that you have just shared how you accomplish it, is a great example of what genuine socialism is. I am honored to be a supporter of yours. I show many of your videos in my class. With your help I believe we have been able to plant the seed of liberation in many of my students that have not been exposed to anything other than 'Merican propaganda. And for those that are hip to the bamboozlement of "free market" capitalism, given them more ammunition to strengthen their resolve. A funny story real quick. An old drinking buddy was grumbling at the jobsite one day about "...damn socialist" this and that. And I stopped him and busted his bubble by informing him that, being a union worker is probably the MOST socialist thing you could ever do in a capitalistic society. He fell silent. Thanks again brother and don't stop. "With our powers combined! We'll form..." a better society.
I mean, realistically, if I went up to anyone and said to them "Completely forget and negate any and all biases you may have for the remainder of this conversation" there would be no conversation. Our biases shape our personalities and in turn shape how we think. I don't understand how this can be hard for people.
if you define "bias" as "having any thought or previous experience whatsoever", then yes that would be impossible, but that's not what people mean. They mean, in the context of the conversation, start from what's presented without leaning on preconceived notions or prejudice. That's worth trying, and is def possible.
@@Dare5358 But that's what a bias is? Your statement is no different from the one I made, even if to go off of souly what is presented to you, you still have and always will, whether at the forefront of your thinking or not have a bias for any and everything. Even when presented with new information, whether we know it or not in the moment, we create biases because that's what our brains do. I believe the term is implicit bias.
@@Dare5358 I was born in a Western country, raised with western values. From my birth I was raised in Judeo-Christian ideals. Of course I think differently than a person who was raised in Mao Zhedong's China. The idea that you can somehow eliminate any biases you have is, frankly speaking, ludicrous and runs up against decades of intercultural research. What we can strive for is basing our ideas on facts, present these facts and let other people decide for themselves if they agree with our opinion.
@@SecondThought Very strongly seconded, absolutely! I shall definitely remember where to come if I should ever wish to turn my channel into one with content, especially socialist content. :)
I can't believe that I stumbled upon this video the way I did. I just started listening to The Deprogram a month or so ago, I saw this title and was worried I had been getting anti-communist BS pushed to my feed. I'm grinning ear to ear that it's actually your channel. I've been meaning to look you guys up and now the universe is making me do it lol. Now I gotta go find Hakim and Yugopnik's channels. I think it's also a sign that this was effectively a tutorial on how to make a video, because I have been debating making a video about a topic that I feel very passionately about and I was debating whether I should try at all. This convinced me I can give it a try and made it seem a lot less scary than I've imagined that the process will be. Thank you so much for your advice!
this was a huge eye opener to my editing and recording. this was such a simple explanation of what is needed it was beautiful. this will make a great evergreen video
This literally dropped as I’ve been planning to get a university society going in Ireland. Another facet to revolutionary movement here I hope. Thank you!!
I must admit, from the title I was expecting something like "Here's how the Right convinces people that everything is Communism via Propaganda." This was very straightforward.
Just want to say thank you and you were the channel that led me towards socialism (podcast helped me find yugopnik and hakim too). I'm now working to get out of my industry (finance) as a direct result of your teachings!
If you are already embedded in the industry and not just an undergrad or something, you'd probably be better off staying and using your earnings to fund socialist movements. If you do that though, be sure to do lots of research so you don't waste it on some reactionary group like the national-level DSA.
@@mortimerwake2974 Yeah I've considered that, but if I'm being honest the mental burden and anxiety I get about the industry isn't sustainable for the long haul (I'm not fresh out of college but am still only about 5 years in so would have to live in the industry for a few decades)
I've worked in music and production and I really appreciate you stressing the bit about cameras. People care way less about the technical fidelity of video (or audio), and way more about if the content itself is well-made and enjoyable. I watch almost all TH-cam videos at either 144p or 360p because I don't like waiting for them to load and I usually use data. If the lighting and audio are good on a TH-cam video, and the visuals aren't outright offensive or bad, most people will not care or notice. All fantastic advice, really love your channel, man.
"Video production is the type of thing where you can spend two weeks learning 80% of it, and it'll take the rest of your life to feel like you really grasped the final 20%. There's always something new to learn but all you need is the basics. You can learn as you go." I like these sentences. They are applicable to any expert field. Great video, thank you.
You can also highlight the video and audio, right click and merge the clips together and it will auto do that whole aligning process and save ya some time! I learned this recently and it’s a game changer (despite being certified in premiere and using it for 11 years now haha)

maaaaaaaaaan. I appreciate this so much. After taking an extremely long break from my TH-cam channel and learning more about socialism and how terrible capitalism is, I've been working on video essays. Just the section on how you craft your scripts was fantastic. I need to re-up my storyblocks subscription for sure.
Wife & I just talked about heavily documenting our next few years building passive/sustainable dwellings in the moderate climate we've planned on moving to... partially because we find the ideals important & want to share, but also because the for-profit healthcare system has beat her up & she wants control over her own biz. This vid is both motivation to show others what we've learned, & possibly a road map to funding her financial freedom. Thank you (also for your other great content on socialist perspective)!
As a guy from a supposed "communist" country, Finland where education is free and healthcare will be covered by taxes and all that kind of jazz, I agree that it's sometimes a mild annoyance to explain the difference between Socialism, Marxism, and Communism. Finland is not communist, it's a country with a lovechild of socialist and capitalist systems; People are free to practice their own business and make their own businesses in the private sector of business, but things as public transit and healthcare is mostly funded by the taxes
100% on-point with audio. There's an odd quirk that people watch with their ears and listen with their eyes. Let's qualify that quickly: Audio quality gets noticed far more than any visual quality. A video is going to sound much more legit if the audio is crisp, there's no annoying reverb, and it's not compressed to all hell and back. The quality of the vid overall (what people are watching) is dependent mainly on what they hear. People will scoff at Behringer's product lines because yeah, they're inexpensive compared to Sennheiser, Boss/Roland, etc. And they mainly produce clones (which is partially why they're less expensive). But I've done A/V since the early 00's and y'know what? People in the audience rarely can tell the difference. If they don't know you're using less expensive equipment, they still think it's high-quality. And frankly, a lot of the advanced features you get from higher-priced equipment you will not need for home production. By all means: stretch those clams and don't splurge on a $500 mic if you're mainly podcasting. As an alternative to a standalone recorder, if you're not on-camera you can pick up a simple condenser or shotgun mic and a phantom power source for it for less than $100. You don't necessarily need any kind of audio interface (and even if you want one, there's pretty good cheap ones out there). Built-in audio cards for computers record at 44k and sound just fine. Spend the money you save on acoustic foam. Clear out a small closet and use it as a recording booth (don't knock it - it works). And finally: don't be scared of used equipment, just make sure to buy from a reputable source. Rather than eBay I usually point people to my local Music Go Round since they've been excellent around here. Talk to local musicians because if a store is good with their used instruments, they're usually good with their used equipment as well. P.S. You don't need a lot of hardware for your audio editing either. Audacity has a ton of plugins and is 100% free.
"It seems to me that the current political task in a society such as ours is to criticize the role of institutions that are apparently the most neutral and independent, to criticize and attack them in such a way that the political violence that exercises itself obscurely through them is revealed, so that we can fight against them." - Michel Foucault, 1971
Great video comrade! I have a bachelors in multimedia but I still watched all the way through and I have to say that, proudly, this is one of the best videos about video production I've seen! Keep spreading the message! Love from Portugal!
JT, I'd happily translate your content into Portuguese, so people here in Brazil could access your so important content. Less than 5% of Brazilians speak English, and less than 1% is fluent. And your channel is one of the best I know, we have some great comunist creators here in Brazil, but they're channels are more the podcast/tablecast format, with lives, and usually are too long the videos and not really organized. And your videos are so greatly produced, it's a shame people in my country can't access it and understand. If you like the idea, please reach me here. 🙏🏻

wow it even feels like this video was made for me what convenient timing, I've been working on some propaganda myself, and I've really wanted to get into doing video essays for a while now, using your content as pretty much the gold standard. As always, appreciate the wonderful work, comrade! I guarantee you this video in particular will absolutely come in handy for countless others, as it already has for me. Hearts and minds is how we win this fight, and acquiring them honestly isn't just the most moral way, it's arguably the most efficient.

Searched up "Soviet propaganda" for that one weird agriculture "Harvest song". and found this. Thought it was a tutorial for soviet-style propaganda, clicked on it, and heard your voice, thus realizing I clicked on your channel. Still watched.
Propaganda makes Socialism look like something horrible that needs to be removed by any means possible. I grew up in the 1980s during the time Ronald Reagan and GHW Bush were President. I was told by many people that anything to do with Socialism and with Communism were horrible things to be done away with.
I may not agree with your economic philosophy, but I respect you for pointing out the obvious to people…yeah, you may lean towards socialism and yes, I most certainly disagree with your stance, but, I find that you aren’t a thug or conman who either bullies people or tricks them…you’re honest and you present as fair a perspective as you can whilst sticking to a principle that you believe in. As someone who works on ad production/post production for a living, I can certify that this video has very good guidance. The only thing I would say is a bit weird is the camera review channel of Tony and Chelsea Northrup; I'm sure they're very nice people but as far as I can remember their videos always had odd, confusing advice, and they would have some really weird takes on everything. Chris and Jordan specifically at DPReview give a good overview and their content is pretty accessible for newcomers.
This feels really similar to the music production process (e.g. when starting with an empty page, writing is super difficult, but once you established some key aspects, stuff writes itself). I think all creative processes share a lot of the same meat.
I've been wanting to make a channel covering anarchism, leftism and social issues in Japan but I came down with severe depression. Now that I'm finally overcoming depression, I'm planning on finally doing it. I'm SO grateful you made this vid; it'll undoubtedly be a massive help once I get started

Another reason why you shouldn't worry about camera quality is that most people don't stream above 360p AND they don't even know that they're doing so. If you're gonna make TH-cam videos, remember you are probably in the top 99% of video quality connoisseurs. And you're not making the new Avatar movie, your message is the point.
I can really see how Second Thought has grown over the past year alone. The difference between his 2021 Climate Report video and the 2022 Report is quite amazing. Not only are the videos today fuller in content and deeper in quality, but JT is just more mature.
I'm following your channel for some six or seven months (can't quite remember when I started following you) and I just can't point a single video of yours that have disappointed me. This one is quite fantastic, and I feel that's so well made that even non leftist people will find it quite useful, as by the way you made it so easy to understand, anyone who just wants to learn how to make TH-cam videos will surely find it quite useful. Outstanding in any ways. Not enough words to describe it properly. Thank you and greetings from Portugal. 👍👍👍
All excellent points. I wrote my first script by sheer NEED before the channel was even though or creates because I realised I knew about something (fatphobia and racism in Italy) that is not known about internationally: if it was known there would be scandals and uproar but the language and insular culture "saved" them. So that came out almost all at once. After that though, complicit to the fact in bilingual but English is not my first language, I became so self conscious, from writing to researching and especially to video essay structure. We stopped making videos for a few months cause I was sure my work wouldn't have been good enough and hoping my partner would alhave written the scripts based on my research. We went for months doing nothing but the odd improvised commentary until another topic struck me and suddenly I dared writing again, and again, and again. At times I still spend too much time researching (I have such obsession with providing verifyable data and sources, not cause it will stop and ill intentioned trolls but because it's what I would want to find when I learn something) but then accidentally some research allows for other videos To be made which would have taken much longer had I not known some theories or facts. i.e. for months I've been researching about female competition with the intention of understanding the less talked side of female community opposite to solidarity: the "pick me"s the "not like the other girls". 5 months after I don't have a word written for that essay cause I feel there's more I need to know (and technically 5 more books on the topic I found I haven't read, despite the 10 I already read) but one of those I already read turned out to be the perfect foundation for a video on the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss and why right wing women rise theought the ranks of the conservative parties usually at times of crisis. Because I already read that book we could sort a video, idea to script to film and editing in 4 days! Unprecedented considering the MONTHS I would usually spend just researching. So indeed I support the idea "write about something you care about" it will give a lot of motivation to think you can share it with the world and maybe introduce people to the idea if they never met it before. Moving from academic style to conversational it's a bit tricky so reading outloud while writing always helps me.
Regarding bias, the best thing I've ever seen was an issue of the (rather infamous) Epoch Times, proclaiming itself unbiased and neutral, and the page following beginning with the sentence "The CPC Virus, also known as the corona virus...". Needless to say, I could barely keep from laughing.
The millionaire channel in the USA broadcasting about communism is not stupid headlines by type; "he just doesn't work, believe me!", and explaining the principles of his work with concrete examples - that's what surprises me, and not the bias with which you broadcast. In Russia, if you just walk with a red flag, then you are already a communist, even if you support the capitalist government. And the recent events and the reaction of some such "communists" to them makes me think that the social revolution will begin in the United States sooner than in Russia they realize that it is not Putin who rules us, but the oligarchs and his capital. P.S. I will duplicate it in Russian, because my English is very bad. Who wants - will translate.

Your videos are PERFECT for radicalizing my Liberal friends and showing the faults with Capitalism today. I wish I had the chops to re-write Alexander Berkman's "What is Communist Anarchism?" to reflect our modern economy, and this video almost gives me the power to visualize that.

Great to see you here, big fan of your channel! Greetings from NL
Hey, great to see you here! Yep, exactly right. I’ve learned over the years which words I stumble over, how long a sentence can be before I run out of of breath, little things like that that you wouldn’t think of at first. It makes such a big difference when you start catering to the narration.
holy crap... NJB is here... I absolutely love NJB .. also ST ..

I can see I've been guided this way all along.
As a former journalism student, I can confirm that unbiased media does not exist. It's one of the earliest things that you are tought during the career.
Is it that because bias can have more than two directions?

Good Point.
For the last part, I think it happenes sometime in countries like France or Germany but certainly not in the US
Indeed earlier socialism was for the working class and the people who were mostly poor.

Wow, thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it
I mean, realistically, if I went up to anyone and said to them "Completely forget and negate any and all biases you may have for the remainder of this conversation" there would be no conversation. Our biases shape our personalities and in turn shape how we think. I don't understand how this can be hard for people.
Social relationships require biases, lying and bullshit to even exist, yet people want it all gone🤔
if you define "bias" as "having any thought or previous experience whatsoever", then yes that would be impossible, but that's not what people mean.
@@Dare5358 I’ve done it. I was a centrist Republican 2 years ago and now I’m a radical progressive. Thankfully.

What we can strive for is basing our ideas on facts, present these facts and let other people decide for themselves if they agree with our opinion.

I've worked in music and production and I really appreciate you stressing the bit about cameras. I watch almost all TH-cam videos at either 144p or 360p because I don't like waiting for them to load and I usually use data. 100% on-point with audio. There's an odd quirk that people watch with their ears and listen with their eyes. Let's qualify that quickly:
Audio quality gets noticed far more than any visual quality.
"It seems to me that the current political task in a society such as ours is to criticize the role of institutions that are apparently the most neutral and independent, to criticize and attack them in such a way that the political violence that exercises itself obscurely through them is revealed, so that we can fight against them."

This young man is a gem I am a very anxious and depressed person that finds little joy in life but this guy's videos are always a gift
Finally some wholesome handicraft work.
I thought it would make a nice change of pace 😁
Yes daddy Second Thought, theach me how to make communist propaganda.
I made a lot of video content in high school and college over 10 years ago, and very little of the actual process has changed much. Your tips here are super valuable and will serve most content creators well for years to come!
I was happily surprised when I found your channel "BreadTube" is unfortunately limited to only a few content creators. Your videos are PERFECT for radicalizing my Liberal friends and showing the faults with Capitalism today.
I wish I had the chops to re-write Alexander Berkman's "What is Communist Anarchism?" to reflect our modern economy, and this video almost gives me the power to visualize that.
Literally the most chad educational TH-camr
i think what people mean by "unbiased" is: It totally conforms to my beliefs and so it must be true and unbiased.
Yep, exactly
These type of tutorials are very good for young revolutionaries like me. The struggle of otherthrowing the upper class and installing the dictatorship of the worker is just too much sometimes. A little help here and there goes a long way. Friendship!
trust me I be the one
Sounds like communist propaganda but... Oh wait🤔
Always had an interest in this, finally someone delivered a good guide
When I first found your channel, when I hadn't read your bio, I was delighted to hear some talking points that actually made sense, instead of a heavily pro-capitalist standpoint. Thank you for providing such a reasonable viewpoint.
Whoa, this is the first real TH-cam video creation tutorial that has actually given me a step-by-step guide.
Thank you for this. I've been contemplating for a very long time on how I can enter this space and even debating email you lol. We appreciate what you do - thank you!
My email is always open! Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
I love this educational content.
Literally yesterday I decided to start writing articles. Now I might even make videos.
Research software engineer here. IMHO academic papers should also be written conversationally!
Agreed! Or at least come with a companion paper written more casually.
HOLD ON a sec. You're telling me, you're, you're telling, you're telling me...
*You're a socialist?*
As someone who gets all my information from the Fox News teat, I am HORRIFIED.
Fox news told me that he will steal your children, house and virginity11!!1!
I love your videos, JT! Keep it up!
Not a politically active person myself, but this video gave me some tips on how to make my videos I make already better. Thank you, as a long time fan of yours.
I see strengths and weaknesses in every system, but Corruption kills everything.
Well, socialism makes corruption way less probable than in a capitalist system.
@@tilly9805indeed! Honestly I think the worst part is unwillingness to learn from the past and make changes and adaptations that prevent past mistakes from being repeated.
this is the most sane person that is into political philosophy, great work dude
Man thank you for this. I genuinely appreciate it. I've been a vocalist trying to come up with a socialist driven hard rock/metal band for a while now and this kinda gives me some ideas. Something like a System of a Down meets Volbeat crossed with some Jinjer, but talking about anti capitalism and pro socialist movements. I hardest part is finding locals who share a similar mindset that play instruments that AREN'T already in a band lol
This music is EXACTLY the type of stuff I am into. I wish you good luck in the future. Quite different, but I also really enjoy the Swedish hardcore/punk band Refused, they actually got me into the scene because at heart I'm much more of a metal head, rather than a punk, but their anti capitalist lyrics are great. I subbed and put notifications on for your channel, hoping to seem some content in the future, good luck comrade!
@@-Zevin- Thanks! I'll definitely give em a look and I appreciate the encouragement!
@@Fenthule If you're looking up Refused, Cory Taylor of Slipknot called their track "Elektra" the best track of the last decade; pretty high praise there, and for good political/ anti capitalist/ socialist content, their album "war music" is fantastic.
