I'll withhold my opinion of pokemon and simply say that as a card collector, top loaders are superior to flimsy card savers. The only reason to ever use a card saver is when sending cards in for grading. Otherwise, if you don't want your cards to get damaged, use a top loader with a penny sleeve.
Very helpful man. Thank you. I bought some Pokemon at a garage sale today.. found HALF the base set in shadowless first edition and needed a way to protect them!! No holos unfortunately but my god! Insane. Thanks.
hi , just saw your video. may i know which side is the front side of the toploader ? i notice that my toploader one side is higher then the other side . is that normal for toploader ?
You forgot to make a chapter for the card savers almost the whole video is in the top loader chapter, was trying to hop around since i was watching but missed the specific details on what the purpose or difference other than the extended top on the savers are. So basically to make sure i got this right. The reason for the card saver instead of basic top loaders is for grading? Because im assuming they make you use them or something? Or is it really just the size cuz ppl have trouble using smaller ones?
No matter which you use, you should definitely use pull tabs on the sleeve.. Like a post it flags or Avery tabs.. Makes it not only much safer and easier to remove the card but also makes it much easier to insert and center your card to quell the OCDemons.. Lol 😁
@@MSDarkspyro a piece that is stuck to the sleeve the card is in that extends out of the top loaded or semi rigid. It is so you can easily pull the card out of move it a bit, without running the risk of damaging the card
The ultra pros you want say graded card submission on them they are more red then black. They cost about 40$ for 200. I store my ultra rares and other favorite cards in a penny sleep top first then in a semi rigid. My preferred method for keeping all dust and debris from getting near the card.
Can recommend non generic brand of toploader which have clear white and very transparent color. Personally i dont like the ultrapro toploader because of their bluish color. Any recommendations are highly appreciated.
I understand using pull tabs for top loader but for not for things like card saver ones where cards are much easier to get out. I thought that why grading company prefer them
@@YizzyPokemon I definitely agree with you! Never had a problem with my Pokémon cards slipping out of a card saver 1, ever. Not saying it’s not possible, I’m just saying I’ve never encountered a problem with them. As for top loaders I’ve definitely had my share of issues before with cards slipping out and sometimes even being damaged.
I feel like the savers would be nice for shipping because they are held in there snug. I hate opening packages and messing with taking off painters tape
After watching your video I searched the internet to find these kitty card savers (I love anything cats and cute) and finally bought them. The quality is not good and the plastic is very sticky and bends so easily . I wanted to like them so much but unfortunately they are not very good. I was so disappointed. I wouldn't store my cards in them.
@@YizzyPokemon so are you saying that it is the best storage method? Is the VaultX (ringless) (zip-up) (side-loading) Binders? Just trying to think of the best way to store my collection
Anyone know if 35pt is fine for pokemon cards with etb sleeves? I got some with some cards off of TCGplayer and they were in brilliant stars sleeves they slide right in i don't know if it's a 35 or a 55pt
So I tried putting some cards in the Card Saver 1's and the Card Savers warped them even considering I gently put them in and they had no previous damage...
Semi rigid is terrible don't waste your money I just emailed ultra pro for a refund. I can't believe anyone would put a card into one of those... Terrible!

Great idea from the Pokémon network with the pull tabs! Also CGC sleeves have something similar, they are fantastic and easy to use!
ahh I cant wait for grading to be more affordable! oh I didn't know cgc did something similar. I was using stick notes before all this haha

for sure! I know people like to team bag everything as well!
May I ask how you store your semi rigid cards? They won't fit it in a binder even if it fits toploaders semi rigid is bigger?
Double sleeve nation
if your afraid of dust getting in your top loaders u can use the double sleeve method so it wont effect the card.
True!
or just take some glue Imao

I hear ya after putting my cards in those they all went from psa10s to psa1s lol😅

which one is the best for humidity problems
Hey man, is there any plastic protector bags for toploaders to makes sure to seal it?

I would argue cards are less likely to fall out of a car saver to be honest

Do you know what is the best toploader for the oversized cards from Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh?
Is it bad if my card savers are scratched not reallocated important but I hope you reply

I’m sorry to hear that. This video is unfortunately outdated too. I do still recommend Kantoshark sleeves and protectors!
Wooo hell ya bro what about storage boxes/ transport boxes I've started to see some nice ones around
for sure! I need to make another video!
I forgot the brand who made the top loaders I have but my LSG usually sells a 100 count for $5
wow that is really cheap. how is the quality?
Which size semi rigid card savers did you use for the pokemon cards?
It should just be 1 size
I love my cards so much i play with card savers lol
HAha
What the fu~
So are binders bad for storage specifically the vault x ones?
Binders with out rings in the middle are the best ones

Of course there are other factors but to sneer your question..yes!
penny sleeve, top loader, perfect fitted team bag.
what is thoose ultra pro that is smaller than card saver 1?
Those are the ones you can purchase at Walmart
That product is great, currently I'd need to import from the States but would be dope if it came to the UK someday!

Love this video, can you make one about storage cases/ boxes
ohhh thats a really good idea!!
Yea I used to use the graded ones and shortly realized that they will not fit any card boxes that I already own so started going with the smaller ones
Should you put the toploaders in the card savers?
Which is best for warping?
Heavy books lol

I am trying to get the Snorlax VMAX Pokémon card
Does anyone make nice card cases to hold the cards stored in Cardsavers? Which ones?
I wasn't able to find where they sold there grading kits on their insta
You have to DM him he is still working on his story
I just graded my Lugia I got a psa 8 I’m so happy
I’ll take that Blastoise thank you lol 😆
haha take it!
i understand your point with toploaders but i am lucky. My toploaders is perfect the cards does not fall out or move lol
You probably want to use clear deck sleeves instead of penny sleeves.
Thanks man! Big help

Card savers destroy my cards. The are so hard to get in and offer damage the card
