Today I share a demo/review how I used COLOR OOPS to get out old box dye + tips and trick for the best results
So I recently decided to dye my hair darker and red / a month ago

Dont worry. Color Oops is the perfect product for you! It reverses the oxidation process of hair color pigment. When hair color is applied, small clear dye intermediates are deposited in hair. During the coloring process, hydrogen peroxide oxidizes the dye intermediates into large colorful pigments that are too big to be washed from hair. Color Oops reverses that process.
When applied, Color Oops shrinks the color pigment back to small clear dye intermediates. These intermediates are still in the hair. The rinse and shampoo process is essential in assuring these intermediates are thoroughly washed from hair.

I swear, Color Oops smells terrible but it’s always worked so well for me! I just went from a medium brown to a nice dark blonde/medium blonde by using it 😭 I’m trying to stay away from bleach as long as possible! I even diluted some of the product with water so it’s less drying on my hair and it still got my hair back to the bleached color it used to be! So happy with the results 😊 I used blue shampoo and it helped get rid of most of the brassiness ❤️ Your results came out great!

I remember everytime I got sweaty for like a week after using this...I smelled. It was awful..but it did work. Helped me get from dark red to blonde way quicker with way less damage.
How many times did you need to use it to get back to your natural blonde? Did it take multiple bottles.
@@thatbasicthespian861 I used two bottles, but I only did it once. I just needed 2 bottles bc I have long hair.
I let my hair rest for like a week. (I rocked some orange hair haha)
And then I slowly started bleaching it. It took me about 3 months to get to a perfect blonde, but it was worth it. I didn't want to kill my hair. I didn't lose any length.
@Estacy Silva I just rode it out. No matter how many times I washed it, it was still there. It faded after I bleached my hair.
@@h0we ok so when i use it can i bleach it afterwards? i’m only using it on my two front pieces and underneath my hair. my plan is to get it back to my natural or blonde and then bleaching it and dying it red with semi permanent dye.
@@loevf7730 I waited a week or so before I bleached. My hair was pretty dry after using this...so I did some conditioning treatments between. But I have really long hair and was so worried I would fry my hair and lose length...so that's the only reason I waited.
I think you would be okay to bleach after.

This stuff works great! Just used it today. The rinsing part is super annoying. Rinse for 20 minutes then shampoo and rinse for another 5 and repeat that 2 more times! I also blowdried it. Make sure you have a super good conditioner on hand!
I barely heard about color remover!! I am so glad you posted this video, my hair is so whack, color on top of color on top of color 😢😢 I am nervous but something has to be done. The stylist I go to just use bleach and honestly it messes up my hair big time. Thank you for posting. The end results look so good, love the after result. It goes with your complexion and eyes!

just used this. been dying my hair dark brown/black for the past year and got tired of it. was so scared my hair color was gonna look uneven or orange or something after using the product, but it turned out a very subtle, medium strawberry blonde :) love it! totally recommend it

Did you ever dye it after? If so what brand? I heard that hydrogen peroxide or just peroxide can revert the color

After watching your video, tried product this morning to remove dark berry color from my blonde hair. Amazing result! Came out evenly and a nice blonde color. It does smell awful but did the job. Thanks for doing this video.
Would like to know if it damaged your hair too I'm natural blonde but do bleach it every now again to brighten it up. Decided to have a drastic change used mahogany colour that turned my hair orange then but dark chocolate on top and hate it but my blonde roots are now showing wondered if this would work without damaging my hair anymore

omg my hair is like the color you started with right now! i dyed it and it came out too dark and red, i miss my light brown/blonde i had before! i tried doing the baking soda/dandruff shampoo method a couple times and it lightened one shade but i think i’m just gonna use color oops now. your hair came out so good!

Looks great! A golden brown. The bad smell is sulphur. When I used it, my hair had been through years of permanent color. So my final result was orangey as shown on the box.

It's a level 6, some parts a level 7. Level 6 is referred to as either dark blonde or light brown lol. It lifted the red out really well! 👍 Looks good 😊👌

@@jayjayl9194 the first time I did it my roots all the color came out and was light brown but the mid and bottom of my hair still were red but definitely lighter so I did it again and this time it only came out a little light my hair was really dry so i didn’t want to do it again I just dyed medium brown over it but it still have a red tint to it I would still try bc it did take out a lot of the color!! I will definitely use this again when I want to change my color

I love this stuff, it took the black dye right out of my hair. It smells terrible, but honestly if you can get passed that, it’s a great product.

How long you been dying your hair , I've been using a dark brown since long down its practically black will I need to use this a few times please , can you use honey or coconut with the shampoo to keep it conditioned x

Lol I've done this before, and I've stripped out a dark brown/black it gave me a honey/light ginger blondish vibe which I was totally into , but like it gradually got darker over the next few days. It's basically the pigment that is still in the hair is hitting the oxygen and is super exposed showing the reds and blues maybe some yellow tones. But the color looks great 🥰And it's a great base color if you decide to change it in the future. ☺️☺️ I'll always use color oops.
this same thing happened to me omg! my hair came out the cutest honey/ginger blonde colour you mentioned and I loved it, but then It got darker and it didn’t look so good lol🙄 now my hair is back to brown but I miss how my hair looked when I first used the colour oops if only that would’ve lasted !!
