- / @youcartv The 2019 2021 Mercedes Benz Actros is a truck featuring pioneering innovations in series production which immediately pay off. The vehicle increases efficiency for business owners and comfort for drivers to a previously unattained level: fuel consumption has fallen noticeably while safety and vehicle availability have been increased further.
The opportunities provided by digitisation have been leveraged in order to achieve that. This applies in particular to the new Multimedia Cockpit, the completely updated interface between the driver and vehicle. The driver benefits from a seamlessly connected workspace with digital services and assistance systems, which can be used intuitively and support the drivers to operate even more effectively. The digital aspects also benefit fleet managers and scheduling teams. Thanks to the new Actros' comprehensive connectivity they are able to monitor their trucks in real-time without interruption and delays. All necessary maintenance and logistics processes, for example, can be perfectly organised and immediate response is possible in urgent cases.
The new Actros is available to order with the start of the 2018 IAA show. The first vehicles will be delivered to customers in spring next year. The options for configuring the new Actros are extensive and each customer will be able to order precisely the Actros which best meets the individual requirements.

Any driver worth his/her salt will happily tell you the blind spot video you see is bullshit,,the only blind spot an artic has is the back doors and the roof ,,for the most you will find it's the impatient lycra clad clan that have no patience and a false sense of entitlement,,if you are a cautious cyclist then you will know what I mean ,good night 👍

Last Actros I drived was in 2002. I loved him! I can't imagine the new model... Then I only had Scania and Volvo. Now I'm in-love with my (2015) 500 FH Globtrotter XL.

В Мерсе кабина только просторная ,для жизни неплохо, для езды Мерс никакой , полностью все гавно, для шефа хорошо, расход топлива задушен, для водителя это не машина, управляемость никакая , шумно в кабине, неудобные сиденья ,хоть и 4 подушки надуваются, как не регулируй спина устаёт, жёсткая очень машина, все стыки, всё на позвоночнике сказывается, малый бугорок на дороге его подбрасывает как на телеге, двигатель тупой, хоть и у меня был 510 коней, коробка тормознутая как и у предыдущих мерсах, после Вольво я почувствовал что сел на Камаз
@@ievgeniizhurkanu3286 скажу более того, за полгода езды у меня начались проблемы с позвоночником именно из за этого корыта, это был последний Мерс в моей жизни. Я теперь понял почему бывалых водителей не загнать на машину этой марки

Always been an Actros fan!design wise, i think the volvo fh16 750 looks better and still the most powerful production truck to date,as a trucker mirrors!mirrors!mirrors! and weak braking systems,has touched even the best highway pilots on the road,this however is a game changer.We need this here in Australia for our road trains!and believe me when it takes you upto 2 minutes to overtake my road train you realise this are undisputed X-machines and we need this tech!You may not respect truckers but without trucks ,Your country will STOP!

You're right, Volvo is number 1 in Europe, then Scania. Mercedes is terrible, my father is truck driver for 30 years. Last year he got a new mercedes truck, after 2 moths it was dead, the engine... Mercedes was and is always a pain. Volvo never breaks down.

the camera lenses are coated with resistant materials and it really is hard to get stuff to hang on to it i know i tried because i drove a demonstrator on a 15 hour shift yesterday and i gotta tell ya i liked this truck very much ! and i was biased towards it believe me i'm an old school kinda guy but it won me over in less than two hours and i had one if the most relaxing shifts i've ever had and finished those 15hrs fresh

Amazing changes & awesome looks hope the interior (sleeping area) is as good as the front new changes. But one question is the brakes applied when a man comes walking infront or the boy walking infront from a blank point. The driver knew that he had obstacles infront of him but when on road driver doesn't know who will walk infront so will the brakes work as shown in video.

Wonderfull truck! Can't wait to see this also with cars! But pls be very very carefull with the driving system without a driver. The Seat should always be behind the steering wheel that the driver can always take controll of the truck in a dangerous Situation and one tipp: When the driver tries to sleep and the engine/motor is still on or the truck is still driving, let the tablet you have there give him a warning that he should wake up.
