Oh yeah... this is a must have. Not only perfect for scissors but also for salon shears. I actually have two of them... one I use strictly for scissors/shears and the other for woodworking/woodcarving tools. You guys build the best!
@@Jmdarnell3 Assuming shears are simply dull (or with micro nicks), I start with 320 grit and work up to 7000/8000. I use standard 1X6 mounted (EdgePro format) stones. I started using Boride but moved to diamond matrix. Both work well. EdgePro offers a scissor sharpening guide that I recommend. If there are material nicks the you need to drop down to 220 grit. I always work to keep the same angle as was original... using a sharpie.
Hello, I just got mine in and wanted to ask if you move through all the stones before removing the burr, or if you have to take them out and remove the burr after each stone? Thanks
Unfortunately new Blitz Pro table doesn't fit the previous version Blitz frame. However, there's an adapter which will help you set the table properly. you can order an adpater from our customer specialists directly and they could send it to you.

2:20 Why is that part so...rough... Did an engineer quickly mill that out in the shop out of scraps with an misaligned turret and a dull end mill to make this video? Or did the machinist not clamp it true? WHY IS THAT ONE PART LIKE THAT?! I've watched this vid like 10 times and literally that one part is like something you guys found in a scrap pile hat you decided to use for this video. Did noone notice?? All your other parts have a polish finish/fine final pass...except for that ONE part lol. I couldn't stop staring at it. ..just to make sure... if we buy this, the final product WILL be of a better finish, right? I mean, I don't expect polish, since that will destroy the geometry/ precision, but at least a better final cut...right? With an aligned mill and/or with better end mills, and/or clamped properly, right?
The table you see in this video has some scatched surface indeed 'cause we've used that a few times, and you're right this doesn't affect sharpening. This is the same table shown during all video. It could seem to you so likey because of rough surface it stands on. Also its construction itself is adjustable. It simply could be untightened in this shot. I believe you may find many other feedbacks or reviews about the quality of the table. All our products get tested a few times in terms of functionality and appearance before it goes to a customer.
First pair of scissors I sharpened on my new KO-3...oh man, they came out better than new!
What a pleasure using truly sharp scissors...

Thanks for sharing!
What grit/type of stone do you use to sharpen shears? Also, what angle is good for shears?

Hey! Stones of different gritness remove the burr consequently. So you need to go through all of them to get rid of burr.
I have a Blitz, but with the upgraded Blitz Pro clamp adapter. Which table will fit?

We'd not sharpen serrated side, only flat side
Mine just showed up and it was assembled with the holes facing down for some reason

Cela depend du system que vous avez et la version de pince. Je suis sur qu'on peut faire quelque chose. Ecrivez-nous sur sales@tsprof.com. Merci!
I want to see it hold an axe. I seriously want to use my ko3 pro to sharpen everything
That depends on the size of an axe. Small axe or hatchet can be sharpened on this table, but we have not shot a video yet.
