Bentism / Vevor Pole Saw Review : Don't Get Scammed!

  • I bought a pole saw from Walmart.com. The pole saw was from a 3rd party seller on Walmart.com. It was advertised as Bentism brand name, but a Vevor brand pole saw arrived. The saw is horrible and almost impossible to use. I found the saw to be extremely heavy and difficult to handle. The saw was ridiculously flexible, and it sounded like it was cracking and breaking during the first time use.
The music I use is from the GoPro Quik App.

I used this yesterday and honestly it worked great. At full length it's definitely heavy, semi-difficult to position, and tiring past a few cuts, but doable. The only alternative tool when you're trying to cut branches 20+ feet up is a rope saw which is way harder to get setup exactly where you want to cut (throwing a pouch/ball over the limb) and equally as tiring. Highly recommended for anyone willing to deal with it being heavy and cumbersome. Not sure about overall durability but I didn't have the same issue with the screwed ends like in the video (likely got a poorly machine unit)

I tried not to assembly it full length 27' from the horizontal position because I wouldn't be able to stand it up. So I tighten each extension pole accordingly until I can reach the right height but not the last pole. Yes, the saw moves a lot. Mine didn't can with the scissors part when I order the Vevor pole saw from temu about $65.00. So I brought the scissors part for $20 more dollars at Amazon. $85 dollars total. The pull string to the scissors part was very short about 10 feet if I were to use the full length of the pole. I use the bigger teeth saw that came with the scissors part instead of the one that came with the pole saw because it double teeth look very short and the pole will hop all over the place. Just like the one shown in this video. I'm working on the walnut fruit tree that the limbs are growing over my roof of the garage. So much cut up hubs to sweep off the roof. Squirrel love to leave messes.

@radioyankee I got you. I had a 14' fiskar pole saw that works great and lightweight. I bought this Bentism/ Vevor pole saw to reach higher branches. Fully extended, it's heavy and difficult to use. When the weather cools, I will try it again. I'm not looking forward to it.

thats what happens when you over tighten your joints. through regular use it will tighten like that. you're better off tightening to the point where it feels tight then going back a quarter to a half turn.

I would think the saw would be for shorter cuts and the scissor attachment would be used for longer cuts.

@romewasnotbuiltinaday walmart had this thing listed as 13 lbs. I reported the description as misleading or false claims. I don't know if they updated the item description. It's 30-35 lbs.
