- OUR FATHER'S DAY CARNE ASADA! Lets start the day thanking God for our fathers. Its a beautiful day to remember them and celebrate the ones with us. We are going to Ocotlan for flowers then heading home to make food and later go to a family friends house for a carne. (asada flautas, hamburguesas, salchichas, quesadillas, guacamole y salsa).

Man, I just woke up and that man singing to his Dad on father's day has me in tears. I lost Dad 10 years ago my mom 15 years ago and my only sibling my sister in 2020. I'm bawling my eyes out. We never stop missing them and as we age we understand them in such a more deeper way. Happy dia de los Pades to my Dad in heaven.

I spent Father's Day in Mexico, the land of my Father's birth. He has passed away but it was a special privilege to think of him on that day.

I didn’t grow up w my mom and dad. They left us in Michoacán w my grandparents when I was 5 yrs old and went to live in CA. I have tried to be a better parent and keep going ❤ God bless you and your loved ones always ❤

Erin, I enjoyed watching the beautiful places you took us along with you. Such beautiful towns, and the Carne Asada made me remember and miss the beautiful church and family cookouts. All my siblings live in Mexico, and I miss them so much. My dad and mom had also passed away many years ago. So this special celebrations are bittersweet. But we have our Heavenly Father that is always with us.

All of your videos are so comforting. I’m Mexican American and grew up in Arizona just 30 mins away from the Mexico border so all of my life I’d spend weekends in Mexico going to fiestas with my family. I live in Iowa now. 😊
You are such a strong person, I hope to be as strong as you are one day when holidays come around. 2 years ago I lost my little brother and then 8 months later we lost my Mom so all holidays I kind of just hide away. 😂😂 I am Puertorican and Spanish is my first language and when you said that you got confused about “en La mañana, and Mañana” it’s the first time in my life that I actually thought about this even being confusing. We all take so much for granted when speaking and we assume that it will be easy for everyone learning a new language. BTW, your Spanish pronunciation is pretty good, so keep up the good work and soon we will heard you speaking complete sentences like a native.

Absolutely a beautiful way to celebrate Father’s Day and to remember those who have passed on. I lost my dad in 2018. He was the best and I miss him everyday! I know he is with me in spirit and with my children. I miss my grandpa and great grandpa too. They were all good men. I think it is a wonderful way to honor our loved ones, to sit and talk about them and with them at their grave. Love all the good food you make and love salsa verde. I’ve never made it that way, but I’m gonna try it, as it looks delicious! That guacamole and carne asada and everything looked so delicious! That’s one of my favorite meals! Also love taquitos every way that you can make them, with cheese, or potatoes, chicken or turkey. Yum!

How spicy can you go and the children? I love some spice but can not eat jalapeños because they cause me stomach issues. I could just eat it alone with a spoon! I think your a Kool mom having them wear lip gloss I remember in order for me to wear makeup I literally commented suicide 😔😔😔 plus she tried selling me to her employees while I was asleep she would make up stories that they needed to sleep over and at midnight they would try knocking on my door and finally when I was 14 I ran away and she tried getting the police involved and thank God my brother told the sheriff dept I ran away because she was trying to sell me 😭😭😭😭
