I think his homeboy set him up. He was in cahoots with the goon "the die". That's why he knew everything about Michael Young to the last detail. In the last song(Gotta Eat) he said his own people wanted him dead. He's listening to "The Cool" as he's killed. The irony is that here, his friend says if somebody does kill him he reminds him to remember there's a heaven for a G. Right before he's killed he's says "hustla fo life". In the song "The Cool" right before they shoot him and as he's about to die again Michael Young himself says "Hustla fo death, no heaven for a gangsta". Which is the complete opposite of what he once believed. He already knows the truth about there being no heaven for a G because he's experienced it first hand. Last but not least, I might be reaching but. Michael Young started skateboarding when he was 6(kick push) he got shot 6 times(The Die) and resurrected 6 months after(The Cool). Read into what you want, but if I know Lupe, it's not a coincidence all this happens this way. Thanks always for the awesome breakdown. You always catch something I miss and I kick myself for it because I use to take notes on Lupe and try to understand everything he's trying to say to us. So i got agree with most of your analysis except for 2, maybe 3 things. 1. I think The Streets did indeed love Michael which is why she made sure he kept the chain to become immortal(The Cool). 2. The Game was indeed jealous of The Cool because the love The Streets had for him, this the set up. Think about the video to Superstar, The Cool and the Streets are walking hand in hand meanwhile The Game is by himself. 3. I think Lupe plays 2 different people on The Die. I think he plays a real friend who's trying to warn Michael(1st verse) and I think he then plays someone in Michael's circle trying to set him up. It's odd that the killer knew about everything and how his homeboy made sure he wasn't in the car when Michael got shot.
