A lot of rappers multisyllabic rapping. Fabolous used to rap 3-4 syllables a song in the early 2000s. Most NYC rappers especially those from the 90s-00s rap atleast do doubles. A lot of 90s rappers in general west coast dudes a few down south dudes. Kool G Rap is probably one of the first rappers to make it a mainstream thing.
