Thank you for breaking down my all time fave Eminem track. And I agree, Dr. Dre did a great job as always on the beat (like that's ever a question), but the beat from the EP will always have a special place in my heart. If you never heard that version, check it... the Bass Brothers basically made a looped version of Fredric Chopin's "Funeral March" which given how raw he goes on this song, is really fitting.

IF you are staying on the SSLP then you have to do two things for us (REAL EM FANS LOL)... 1.React to Rock Bottom (ONE OF HIS REALEST SONGS) 2. When you get to MMLP you HAVE to react to Kim (EASILY ONE OF HIS GREATEST EMOTIONAL/STORYTELLING WORK OF ART) then go back to SSLP and do 97 Bonnie and Clyde since KIM is the prequel and 97 Bonnie and Clyde is the sequel. Those two songs are MASTERFUL arts of Hip Hop.
