Jay - I've been subbed to your channel for quite some time, and I do enjoy your content. I admire your humility and perspective on things. My advice? Take a break. Re-energize. Re-focus. And find out what made you happy in the first place.
Don’t stop doing what you love forever! I understand this so much!! I love sharing my fitness and life on social media but it gets to a place where I feel obligated vs enjoying it. I have pulled back to doing it when it suits me and how it suits me! Don’t feel like it’s goodbye forever, just take your beat and then you’ll know if you miss it, it’s worth the effort!
Hey cuz! I’m sad to hear you are feeling this way. So many people really appreciate your reviews and enjoy your videos. That being said, you have no obligation to post videos regularly and there’s nothing wrong with taking a break! I don’t think you have to make any harsh decisions about ending your channel. I totally agree with your friend - maybe this is the perfect time to re-energize and re-focus. It also sounds like you are under a lot of stress and you need to put your energy into other things right now! Once the dust settles, your passion and love for film is still going to be there. Maybe you’ll find that same spark that got you started in the first place, or maybe you’ll “channel” your energy into a new film-related project? Whatever it is, hang in there buddy. You have a lot of people who care about you and want to see you succeed. More importantly, we want to see you happy! 🙂
Thank you. I appreciate you and everyone around me who has been so supportive. I think I am going to take a break. Reevaluate what I'm going to do next. I might even take things in a new direction. Something to help me reignite that spark that made me enjoy doing this in the first place. Thank you again for the pep-talk. I really do appreciate it.
@@jman1939 Of course! I know it must be frustrating to feel like it hasn't gained the attention you were hoping for. But ya never know, maybe you'll decide to take it in a different direction after some time to reflect. New careers and jobs are invented every day - maybe there's something out there that will re-ignite your passion for film again? I think it's worth looking into when you're ready. Anyway, I'm always here to talk if you need someone! Take care of yourself and the rest will follow.
