Short answer: No. Nothing is wrong with this movie. Its script is perfectly fine and makes sense. Just because its not as incredibly as minus one or other great movies doesn't mean it's not good. This movie is peak goofy awesomeness. So no. Just no. A lot of people actually really enjoy this new direction. "There is hell in hollow earth? Lots of monkeys! Red Monkey? Ice dinosaur? Deaf girl moth goddess? WhAt iS ThIs!?!??!?"
I'll tell you Mr Low IQ take. It's called fun. This is a fun movie.
Also someone compared you to doctor skipper and that is a one hundred percent true comparison.
thx man i appreciate it... I did say that the movie was fun?? I said it wasn't a bad movie at all! I also said it was the funniest experience I've had for a while now at the cinema. It's just that with this new AI technology and everything I can't help but wonder if such a chaotic script was written with some help from our artificial friends. I'm also making a 'fun' video that just jabs at the script writing and if anything enhances the discussion with this movie.

Ok some stuff to cover that i noticed.
1. Dr Andrews was a way better character in this movie. If you saw in GVK: she was not that good of a character. Saying she isn't the "least memorable", it's kind of an understatement. So, we can tell she was not written by AI.
2. Ok you have a point The general who drove the H.E.A.V was a bit memorable, though I don't think he was more memorable than the other characters, so there's another point.
3. Trapper can't have AI generated lines. His role was to be some sort of a comedic character in the movie so his lines were perfectly done.
4. Kaijus can age too you know.
5. The belt Scar King has was mostly used to control Shimo.
6. In KOTM it was shown that mothra had an egg found somewhere, meaning, Mothra had a reason to be in the movie.
7. The script was not "poorly written". They spent 2 years making the movie.
8. If it weren't for the humans then how would the story play out without proper backstory?
9. The Iwi tribe had to move to the hollow earth due to attacks from Camazotz.
10. Jia isn't a goddess.
11. Did you forget why godzilla even got to his size? He consumes radiation!
Alright thats all i have to cover, this is from what i know and i am not hating on kevin, i actually like his content, though i am kind of disappointed of this video. Just make sure you know what your talking about before you post.
haha thanks for the rundown man. I'm not hating on the movie in fact I said I loved how fun it was! But I'm just speculating considering how wild the plot was (not necessarily bad per say) it is possible a human (at least not a sober one) probably had some outside help.

At the end of kotm, mothra sacrifies itself and dies but if you read the credits rolling, you'd see in a news clipping that monarch found bunch of living mothra eggs in some remote location

It’s a fighting kaiju movie buddy not an actual love trilogy or adventure movie LMAO so no wonder for ppl who aren’t kaiju fans think about the script so much we don’t care about the script we only care for seeing monster action and seeing the kaiju story etc so stop trying bruh😂
I said i liked how fun it was and how kaiju centred the movie was! I'm just saying the plot was so wild that a human, at least a sober one, would have quite some trouble coming up with something like this.

They brought on Mothra also because at the end of KOTM there was a Mothra egg spotted!
@@barn2013hMy theory is that this Mothra is not the one from the egg. Because they found the egg somewhere up on earth and this Mothra came from the Hollow Earth and also doesn’t really hatch from an egg. So maybe there is a third Mothra?
@@Godzilla_Alpha_Predator Ok, here is something that supports that, at the end of FW even though it was seen that she was lit on fire, in the credits, we can see mothra flying back to infant island, like she didn't die.
That could also be the mothra we see.

Also to say connecting franchises is bad,you cant ignore the several references they brought back up in GXK like jet jaguars "Punch! Punch! Punch!" reference and the person that trolled Bernie Ghidorah_64. All of these are from the showa era. so saying to connect universes isn't cool, It's your opinion sure, but there still are multiple references from different era's that help make it a bit more fun.

godzilla went from a quite realistic nightmare (good nightmare)
to a litteral sci fi crap nighmare (actual nightmare)

He literally says he had fun watching the movie, its just that the plot is a bit dumb, AND THATS OKAY, THE MOVIES PURPOSE IS TO ENTERTAIN YOU WITH PURE MONSTER ACTION, NOT A COMPLEX PLOT. Sure, I don't think it was written by AI, but the fact you cant stand someone not having the same opinion as yours or most people makes you a whinny crybaby.

No. You complain that the plot makes no sense but the AI one makes even less. Why would Godzilla and Kong need to team up? In the original it's because Kong can't fight Shimo and Godzilla can't get to scar king. In this version there is no need for them to team up. Also you complain about the giant moth goddess, but then love the giant squid god. Your mind is more narrow than the gap between this movie and peak. (Very narrow)
@@CeratosaurL I heavily agree. If they wanted Kong just to solo Skar King and Shimo, if they did why isn't it just called "Kong: The New Empire."

Uhhhhh, yes they did? According to wikipedia, they started production in June of 2022. That was 2 years ago. You can't say they didn't try hard. Think about it, this is the same movie company that makes Transformers movies like Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and more. And, those movies did really well. Although you can argue that there were different directors, Adam Wingard and Legendary Studios worked very hard on the movie.

The last Godzilla movie was such a snorefest. The writing was such trash, full of plot-conveniences, contrivances, and piss poor acting. Not to mention the cartoonish bullshit with the CGI, pure slop to make Midwits clap like seals. There's no sense of impact with ANYTHING the monsters do. KOTM wasn't any better. Sloppy damn schlock meant to put Midwit butts in seats and shut up spoiled kids for a Saturday afternoon. The only scenes that stick out as being actually decent in terms of innovative settings and action are when Zilla attacks the fleet transporting Kong and Rodan's awakening. If you're going to give me a "Monster Movie" take out almost all of the goddamn cast, and give me an hour of monsters beating the daylights out of each other.
Say what you will about 2014 Godzilla, but at least it knew how to put weight, power, scale and majesty into the monsters. "oH lOoK tHiS gUy HaTeS fUn!!" Stop talking. You can have smart, well written movies and still make them fun. The shit you subject yourselves to is just straight up trash.

this the closest to an hour of monsters beating each other up, this has a nearly 50/50 human monster screentime.
