Diversity is like makeup, when it’s done well you don’t notice it

Lucy’s positive attitude is a superpower
Didn't have high hopes for this for obvious reasons, but hearing the reviews has me open to watching it sometime
It's great you should definitely watch it
something I just noticed about the fallout series. Every main character is the main character of the big games
Lucy is The Lone Wanderer
Cooper is The Courier
and Maximus is The Sole Survivor
not overly important but its a cool detail I noticed throughout the show.
Maximus the sole survivor? I don't know... He'd probably be more akin to Tactics' characters
What are you smoking and where can I get some
I kind of see it...
I hope the upcoming Warhammer shows/movies are of the same quality, something made to the fans of the IP and in the same also just make a kick ass media to people who are not fan of the ip
Yeah I heard Henry Cavill wanted to be a part of the project?
@@drkevin1302 He is the one pushing the whole thing forward and that man is a huge nerd
I was really hyped and still really surprised with how awesome it was, it just captured the fallout essence so damn near perfectly. I’ve been a huge fallout fan for as long as I can remember, older siblings and parents always were playing it and talking about it when I was growing up so it was just kinda always around, so much good lore and just ah
I LOVED it if not for anything else but the fact that it FELT like a video-game!!
citing Tron: Legacy as a popular video game adaptation?
It was neither popular nor a video game adaptation
nah it was pretty popular even if it was bad
Everybody say it with me: Nothing is worse than Vault-Tec.
Nothing is worse than Vault-Tec
Nothing is worse than Vault-Tec
I really enjoyed the show, and I think all the confusion about it conflicting with New Vegas could have been averted if they just used better wording to describe a few critical events.
yeah I think some of that was a bit confusing, but I just didn't worry about it too much
Shady sands falling 4 years before NV sounds like more than just needing better wording
@@peytonspencer11Honestly, i think Shady Sands collapsing was more due to NCR's currency completely failing because their gold reserve was raided by the Brotherhood during the NCR-brotherhood war.
The Show is great , I endjoyed very much
Yeah me too
What do you think? Last of Us vs Fallout 🤔
oh wow i thought you had like 100k based on your content, but i think fallout is better. earned yourself a sub man keep it up
@@spilledbrix thx for the complement man
TLOU can't hold a torch to Fallout.
It's a decent show although I've never played the games or watched the last of us.
haha don't need to to enjoy this one
He's clearly a fan and despite his words, he's probably gone further out his way, to please fans than any maker of a Video Game TV show/movie.
Even so, I'm not enjoying on the merits of a show or tale well told.
I think he knew about some continuity problems, which is why he said what he said, but honestly I don't mind some of the lore changes he made. Overall a brilliant show
I’m a Fallout Shelter main!
yeah the game is actually fire
based
1:44 except this is not the core of the original fallout. This is the core of Bethesda's fallout, a more cartoon adaptation in my opinion, don't get me wrong, it is still enjoyable, but it is a far cry from the original which was more centred around a retro futuristic cold war going hot and the few surviving humans going fully primordial instinct. In a way fallout the original series and to some extent FO 3 and NV are an interesting thought experiment, a big "what if".
Hmm... You are right but I think nv and 3 already had a lot of themes and concepts embedded within the game that criticised and commentated on many of our society's problems. I do think the show foccused more on that, just a creative choice, but I don't mind it at all. A pure survival show is a bit harder to appeal to everyone I guess, and is a bit harder to pull off.
fallout 4 and 3 not the trilogy 1,2 &nv
I think it definitely embedded a lot of themes from the original trilogy as well, but some of the continuity gets broken, you are right. But overall it definitely respected the source material MUCH more than other adaptations.
@@drkevin1302 respected fallout 3 and 4 but not the trilogy killing off NCR is pretty show runners just throw in references but it doesnt mean it respects the lore. go watch oxhorn
It has become fashion to throw POV on everything these days?
haha just following the trends here
I wanted to hate this show so bad, im still holding my breathe as im only on episode two. HOWEVER, this show has BTFO'd most of my concerns. Im excited as it really does feel like a live action version of the game without it being cringe.
wonderful show that fits my personal taste really well
No, is a Bethesda Fallout fan, not the original Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas fan, they why NCR was nuke into oblivion for no reason, he say itself, and hate when people praise this show when it literally shit on the continuity, like most Bethesda games, establish lore is not something that I care much, but in this case, this are the foundation, and what this show does is destroy to pieces.
What are you even talking about...
The NCR was already going down under by New Vegas; by 2277 Shady Sands began it's downfall and stopped being the capital of the Republic, then, sometime probably after 2281 (NV) it was nuked by Hank/Vault Tec; NCR is not gone, it's just become very fragile gradually.
@@besnick Like all the factions in New Vegas, it has it flaws, that is the appeal of the game, but wasn't nuked out of existence for stupid reasons, and only go down if you chose the Legion faction when you kill the NCR president, something that this series seems that not even acknowledge it seems. This series shit on the lore and laugh about it, I not problem changing the lore when actually make sense, but this changes are stupid, they are mindless like most Bethesda changes in the lore that make no sense when you began to think about it.
The problem with most people is that they want a 1 to 1 adaptation of the video-game lore, and sometimes that's not possible or not as effective. You have to give some creative freedom to the writers, and I think they encapsulated all of the actually important aspects of Fallout, like the atmosphere, overall vibe and general message.
@@drkevin1302 Actually you can write a story with NCR and not make the fucking Brotherhood of Steel prevalent, now they have become nothing more than marketing, than an actual faction, you can have all the freedom in the world when in comes to the characters and their development, you can make the NCR more incompetent or corrupt, show New Vegas, but no, they chose the lazy way, out of spite, that why Amazon was so rushed to deliver this in one go, in a month, this would be forgotten, and it would be long essays about how horrible this TV Show is.
@@TheKeyser94 I literally had no problem with any of the things you just pointed out. If you just look past these minor plot details (that literally could mean different things depending on perspective) you can actually enjoy a decent adaption. As far as video-adaptations go this could have been A LOT WORSE. Somethings are more important than keeping a linear storyline
the video games like fallout new Vegas are a lot better than the movie
The show was garbage lol. That you somehow also liked the last of us show shows you've got poop taste and will mindlessly adore anything with enough member berries. Like this was literally the force awakens of Fallout and you people are falling for the same trick again
You haven't played original games, have you?
I have not played 1 & 2, but I've played nv and 3... I know the continuity is a bit questionable but honestly I don't mind the changes.
@@drkevin1302 Of course you don't. You like Bethesda's product - why would you mind anything they do to Fallout?
I fell in love with Black Isle/Obsidian stuff - of course I'd be unhappy 😆
@@panwu6602whatever dude, keep on hatin on Bethesda because of nostalgia (¿?), Fallout 3 and nv are fecking amazing. I even liked fallout 4, combat is awesome.
@@Chabier-mx2mz It's not Bethesda per se. It's mediocrity. I loved New Vegas and 3 was ok - nothing special. 4 was just bad Fallout game but on ok shooter in it's own right.
@@panwu6602 aight i understand you, but would you say Fallout show is mediocre?
