Having a look at young Godzilla would be a really interesting idea. Seeing how he started out and what he had to do to gain his respect and power. A teen Godzilla if you will.
I think Showa era Godzilla is the most intelligent Godzilla. He was able to speak fluent language with Rodan and Mothra. He also knew Martial Arts. These things were used as jokes but it still takes brain power to do those things.

The thing with *tool usage* that a lot of people overlook (even some scientists when they conduct studies) is the entire _purpose of tools_ in the first place: Tools are only ever used when the animal/being in question can't complete a needed or desired task without them. Tool usage is an expression of problem solving skills, and the first part of problem solving is deciding whether or not a problem needs to be solved in the first place... Chimps use sticks to dig out insects from trees because they can't reach them with their fingers, and they bother with it because it's an easy source of protein. Crows drop nuts onto roadways because they struggle to or can't break the shells themselves and nuts are a readily available and easily acquired food source. If a dolphin can't get to the fish in a pond or a tidepool, they don't care because they have no need to go there for food; it's not a problem they need to solve. So compared to the clawless and atomic-less Kong species, what problem do Godzillas have to solve that can't be solved with their inherent capabilities? None. Godzillas never had to compensate for a lack of something in order to survive, so they never _had_ to develop or use tools. It's not that they couldn't; it's that they didn't have to.
People seem to forget Kong was just an orphaned ape barely out of his teen years when he fought an ancient alpha Gojira. Kid was happy swinging around trees all day and chatting with his little human friend. His ancestors though seem to be another whole different level. They built throne rooms and created battle weapons from body parts of their Titanus Gojira enemies they had killed. I'm sure if Godzilla faced an old warrior level Kaiju ape instead of Kong the battle would haven't been one sided as it was.

literally my tastes change all the time and i like different things but when one of the things i like; its godzilla, i allways watch your videos, thanks for making this epic videos.
Kong only recent reached his later teens comparatively speaking. Godzilla is an man in his 500's. Of course Godzilla's experiences are going to make him more knowledgeable. He can think during battle on how to take advantage of his enemies weaknesses. However that doesn't make him smarter. Despite being so young, Kong has learned the use of tools, language and understands simple concepts. And he has the potential to grow even smarter with age.
See, when it comes to emotional and higher reasoning intelligence, Kong for sure takes it. He thinks very much like a Human instead of a great ape. Meanwhile, while Godzilla is more "primitive" in the ways in which he uses his intellect in relational and problem-solving manners, he's arguably much more intelligent in terms of analyzing and managing a global ecosystem.

@@Kaiju-bm4ts Agreed but you can’t deny how smart he is. Godzilla can recognize individual humans and actually created a “pseudo-governance” over the others… among other feats. But yeah your right. Age doesn’t matter

I don't know where you learned that saying but I'd stop using it if I were you. Knowledge is exactly, knowing what a hammer is. Intelligence or experience is knowing how to use it to it's full potential.
Fellings is also a thing that shake your cognition a little. We can all say after watching goji videos that the G-man is definetilly egocentric, playing with Kong was something very dangerous, and could get him killed BUT sometimes fellings can help you, fear help realise potentials treats and anger can be use in battle.
One example of experience is when Godzilla and Kong fought against Mechagodzilla, Godzilla remembered his atomic breath charges Kong’s axe allowing him to defeat Mechagodzilla
I think that it is important to stress that Godzilla might have selective memory. It is true that he can remember events and certain beings for eons, but not everything. It is confirmed by Doughtery that Godzilla fought Ghidorah in the ancient past, however the former forgot that the latter had three heads that could easily dodge his atomic fire until after he missed. He most certainly would've used it at some point in the past, so he should've known that using it wasn't a good idea unless he aimed for the chest.
why wouldn’t you use your most versatile and powerful weapon against a known hostile entity? Like that’s a really dumb take for the example you used and “selective memory” isn’t a real thing, from what I’ve read and heard, it’s a narcissists way of trying to compensate that they’re not perfect. Here, we have a primal gigantic monster who is simply king of the monsters. Narcissistic? Nope, but its definitely a confident borderline cocky kaiju
@@ajreyna2350 Fair point. But I’m not saying that Godzilla wouldn’t use it, only that he aimed at the wrong area. Of course you’d want to use a move that you know is effective.
@@Thedumbfour Fair, but I would also like to point to the fact that there are three heads and neurons scattered out throughout his body. It seems likely for the first couple of times that they’d get hit, but surely they could pick up quickly. To be fair, though, this depends on how long and how many times Godzilla and Ghidorah have fought in this continuity. Unfortunately there isn’t enough concrete evidence for that right now.
@@gundamboy96 I get ya man, i was more nit picking the selective memory thing, although I would argue that Ghidorah is just faster than Godzilla thought he’d be since the atomic breath is FAST and Ghidorah dodged at essentially point blank range
“Godzilla’s brain is only about this size. *lifts baby tomato* He’s sheer brute force. Whereas King Kong…is a thinking animal.” Godzilla: *Proceeds to outsmart and beat Kong to a pulp four times out of five across two movies, losing only once and winning four other times*
Yeah the American version didn't do the 60's battle much justice. I mean Kong is called a thinking animal and during the battle he knocks himself out?!😂 I guess it's due to the more satirical nature of the movie.
Analogy: (Kong) Genius Mma fighter with average body, with a black belt in karate/taekwondo..etc, with less than 10 fights under his belt. Vs (Godzilla) Smart 5 star general in peak physical condition, is extremely combat trained, and has several years of war experience. Who wins, of course the latter, who's smarter obviously the former.
Kong never won at all. Hong Kong was one battle. At most you could argue Kong got the edge of round 1 of the Hong Kong Fight but once they got up to continue looking for each other (the novel makes it clear they both lost sight of each other after the explosive axe slam), the fight continued into round 2 and then Godzilla finished the fight.
This is a very informative video about the intelligence of Godzilla and Kong. I honestly believe both Godzilla and Kong are roughly the same in intelligence, even though they have advantages over the other in intelligence.
Since we have never met another of his kind I never thought of Godzilla as a Prodigy, but it makes sense and I love the idea that even among his own he is exceptional.
Kong is smarter but Godzilla has much more experience in battle which means he can defeat king in a battle. In a academic battle kong wins by far because kong has been evolved more
I'd give Kong the overall advantage intellectually. Fighting strategy, communication, sense of morality, and willingness to partner with others (humans or Titans) for the greater good. Godzilla just has better instinctive sensors and decent fight strategy. Overall, it's just a bully brute. At least he sticks to his job as a nature balancer/bouncer.
When they were battling Mecha Godzilla and Godzilla used his Atomic breath on Kong's axe, that proved to me a couple of things. He has experience battling and surviving battles with Kong's people who used these weapons. Not only did he know exactly how that weapon works, but this proves he is capable of quick and complex analytical thinking, all while under pressure. This goes well beyond battle experience, but formulating a complex strategy all while in the heat of the moment,. It was nothing short of brilliant.
The comics point it out well that Godzilla is a full sentient being capable of thought and emotion. He lacks the ability to communicate with humans but he is highly intelligent.
People are overthinking this out the two in pure intelligence Kong takes this easily, Sign language requires a lot of brain power and memory to use and speak not to mention for years kong did this secretly while under containment he also played games with jia understanding the concept of religion entertainment and speaking language kong also knows that he can use certain things as weapons and has concepts such as rage revenge etc godzilla has lived for longer and has more knowledge so godzilla is more knowledgeable kong takes pure intelligence but godzilla has more iq for a warrior or an animal kong is practically like koko the gorilla godzilla is more like a battle hardend wolf
There is a reason why humans were the apex of the savannas. We eventually won. Its like comparing a dinosaur aged Croc vs Ancient human. Kong will be exponentially more powerful the older he gets, eventually outfight godzilla
Godzilla smiled and he is arrogant so he understands facial recognition and emotes. Plus, since he's the last one of his kind he'd have to be self taught as well when he managed to survive without his kin. He knew how to power the axe so he clearly knows weapons as well. Kong doesn't just perform better in a group he also performs better in jungle like environments as oppose to out in the open or on a ship.
@@vaporouselm9982 did you not see that Godzilla lifted Kong with his bare hands in Godzilla vs Kong. So that means Godzilla‘s arms are stronger than Kongs arms
I think the only reason Godzilla, doesn't use weapons is because he CAN'T use them with how his claws are designed. IF they where designed SPECIFICALLY FOR Godzilla's species then he would probably use them.
I'm fairly confident the Aftershock comic proves Godzilla is not only capable of philosophical thoughts, but is smarter than most humans. I think Serizawa had it right. The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control (or in this case, intellectually inferior) and not the other way around. Ghidorah in the novel has a straight up villain monologue discussing his desire to eradicate all life.
Just a thought but imagine Godzilla having bigger developed arms as big as kong. He would be a professional boxer and probably pull maneuvers that allow him to access better range.
His arms are short but thick. That hump on his back? A block of his arm muscles just like a brown bear. Several times in the movie, he over powers kongs entire upperbody with one arm........buuuuuuut, all that mass and concentration of leverage makes Godzilla very stiff and unable to maneuver, like when Kong got on Godzilla's back, Godzilla couldn't reach him.
@@HellboyGodzilla I never really noticed a hump but after what you said its interesting. And another random thought, if monster x where to be introduced and in the monsterverse in his first form, I would like to imagine he can blitz Godzilla with speed alone like Krang in the rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles: the movie. Sorry if the response is so long, I feel like MV can make their monsters strength and power wanked. 😊
I understand the question perfectly But I feel like I need to mention kongs superior emotional intelligence When king seen mechagodzilla literally wipe the floor with the g man we can assume that he wasnt all that willing to help him as goji almost killed him prior to this But despite that fact Kong put his emotions aside and help Godzilla because after receiving info from gia he quickly learned that he was vital to this worlds ecosystem
Godzilla and Kong's intelligence is built in a way for their fighting style and adaptability but in my opinion they are both equally intelligent in their challenges and find a way to problem solve and figure out weaknesses on the battlefield

@@Kaiju-bm4ts Agreed but you can’t deny how smart he is. Godzilla can recognize individual humans and actually created a “pseudo-governance” over the others… among other feats. But yeah your right. Age doesn’t matter
@@a-uncreative-person definitely godzilla is smart in all ways but the fact he isn't a Primate (which is the same class as humans) does put him at a disadvantage compared to kong's intelligence

11:44 KONG SKULL! Maybe this could bring up a new awesome video by Gojicenter
*Godzilla* (looks at Kong) "We live in a society..."
*Kong* Bro I TOLD you I ain't sayin' it man! It ain't funny to me!
1st thing to consider is that there're different kinds of intelligence
glad you established that early in the video 😇
Godzilla and Kong are intelligent in their own ways. Wait until they meet Destroyah. That would be a kaiju level threat.
Not until we get Gamey in the mix!
Nah wait till they meet Minilla the world would be screwed
@@GigaTrap6000 both
Gezora and minilla
@@GigaTrap6000 why would godzilla be scared of his own son.
@@spongebobsquarepants4463 the sheer appearance of minilla scares space and time
Let alone Godzilla
I'd love to see a series where you use this evaluation metric to estimate the intelligence of other titans!
It's my birthday today and ive been waiting for this video! thankyou Gojicenter!
“Knowledge isn’t knowing what a hammer is, it’s knowing how to use the hammer to its potential.”
I know this is ridiculous but imagine if they built a gun for Kong lol. 😂 Shit would be hilarious.
Yeah lol
“This colossal threat in the next movie…unlike anything seen before!” BIG MONKEY WITH A PET ICE AGE
And this video , very good example of how much I learn . Always learn something new from your videos
I mean, One of them understands tools, weapons and edge alignment, and the other hits things with his tail..
In that case we can easily said that Ghidorah never dodged breath, but after being hit many times he realized how to dodge it
why wouldn’t you use your most versatile and powerful weapon against a known hostile entity?
14:35 Lol that "Why aren't you subscribed yet?" is hilarious
Great vid ❤❤
I can’t believe that this guy doesn’t have 1M subscribers yet, he deserves it
“Godzilla’s brain is only about this size. *lifts baby tomato* He’s sheer brute force. Whereas King Kong…is a thinking animal.”
Godzilla:
*Proceeds to outsmart and beat Kong to a pulp four times out of five across two movies, losing only once and winning four other times*
Vs
(Godzilla) Smart 5 star general in peak physical condition, is extremely combat trained, and has several years of war experience.
Who wins, of course the latter, who's smarter obviously the former.
@@michaelinkpen4188 eh
Kong never won at all. Hong Kong was one battle. At most you could argue Kong got the edge of round 1 of the Hong Kong Fight but once they got up to continue looking for each other (the novel makes it clear they both lost sight of each other after the explosive axe slam), the fight continued into round 2 and then Godzilla finished the fight.
@SenjiroAkechi I was referring to the the final battle in KKvG, in which Kong won.
This is a very informative video about the intelligence of Godzilla and Kong. I honestly believe both Godzilla and Kong are roughly the same in intelligence, even though they have advantages over the other in intelligence.
Hopefully this channel hits 1 million subscribers next year.
What animation do you use to make these videos. These animations are GORGEOUS!
Godzilla is all about skills, Kong is about critical thinking so its a draw
Fact a new GVK is being filmed on Australia/the Gold Coast ✨️
Saw it on the news
Haven't watched a video yet but I can already tell that considering Godzilla's age he's much more experienced than Kong.
Since we have never met another of his kind I never thought of Godzilla as a Prodigy, but it makes sense and I love the idea that even among his own he is exceptional.
Am I the only one who thought Kong would get impailed by Godzilla's spikes when he jumped on Godzilla.
Oh wow I just realised that...
Yes
Goji center never lies that’s why I love this channel
Kong is smarter but Godzilla has much more experience in battle which means he can defeat king in a battle. In a academic battle kong wins by far because kong has been evolved more
Evolved?
Another banger goji Center😁
@@obsidianfrost9514 "Godzilla can't communicate" new series
@@-_deploy_- holy shit thats a good idea
No bro. He literally charged Kong's axe in their fight
@@obsidianfrost9514 I disagree
I think Kong is the more intelligent out of all the Titans, including Godzilla.
Provide reasoning! (this isn't in a serious or toxic way I just want to know lol)
There is a reason why humans were the apex of the savannas. We eventually won.
Its like comparing a dinosaur aged Croc vs Ancient human.
Kong will be exponentially more powerful the older he gets, eventually outfight godzilla
This was another well thought out and great video
Godzilla smiled and he is arrogant so he understands facial recognition and emotes. Plus, since he's the last one of his kind he'd have to be self taught as well when he managed to survive without his kin. He knew how to power the axe so he clearly knows weapons as well.
Kong doesn't just perform better in a group he also performs better in jungle like environments as oppose to out in the open or on a ship.
Usually I always thought Godzilla was stronger than Kong but Kong was smarter
yeah but big g is a lot stronger thats obvious man
@@brennac7624 I know, I just said that Godzilla was stronger
I honestly think Kong wins in upper arm strenght while godzilla wins in leg strength.
@@vaporouselm9982 did you not see that Godzilla lifted Kong with his bare hands in Godzilla vs Kong. So that means Godzilla‘s arms are stronger than Kongs arms
@@vaporouselm9982 actually his arms are stronger cuz he has tougher skin and can lift godzilla
I think the only reason Godzilla, doesn't use weapons is because he CAN'T use them with how his claws are designed. IF they where designed SPECIFICALLY FOR Godzilla's species then he would probably use them.
No its because Godzilla doesnt have that level of thinking
ur so close to 700k subs good job ive been a member of this channel since the the godzilla and kong vs mecha godzilla in depth analysis
I can't wait for the next Godzilla vs Kong movie. Thank you for reigniting the hype, Goji Center.

bro this was so awesome to finally see i was desperatly craving something like this :D
It seems understandable that Kong has more emotional and learning intelligence while Goji has more feral and battle intelligence.
I understand the question perfectly
But I feel like I need to mention kongs superior emotional intelligence
When king seen mechagodzilla literally wipe the floor with the g man we can assume that he wasnt all that willing to help him as goji almost killed him prior to this
But despite that fact Kong put his emotions aside and help Godzilla because after receiving info from gia he quickly learned that he was vital to this worlds ecosystem
Godzilla has emotions too though they aren't as strong as Kong's.
Godzilla and Kong's intelligence is built in a way for their fighting style and adaptability but in my opinion they are both equally intelligent in their challenges and find a way to problem solve and figure out weaknesses on the battlefield
