@@HazVision It takes a bit of wire splicing but basically you cut the 3.5 wire and have to strip the 4 individual wires inside. Once you do that you feed the exposed wire ends into the provided amp in the correct order.
@@HazVision Probably the cable that's connected to the board try to move it around or take it out and reseat it. If not that then probably a setting inside retropie might be set wrong. Hope this helps.

@@dragio23234 you would need the control kit to go with control deck unless you have the buttons, joysticks and USB encoder already but yes if have the guts to go with the deck it should hook up to pc. I would check out rival boss videos if you want to know how to wire up buttons or setup retropie only difference is your connecting to pc instead of arcade1up

Amp makes super annoying whining and buzzing sounds when everything is low. How do you fix this? Everything is in tight. Bought the modup from you guys.
Unplug the 3.5mm audio cable. Replug it in firmly on both ends. Should be in the far right connector of the lcd controller and the amp (mp3) conntection.

Anyone have any front end recommendations for this specific cabinet? I'm using Wolfanoz 128GB on a 128GB card and am having two issues. (1) When I select a game my control configurations get thrown out and buttons don't work anymore. Have to reboot and cant play games. (2) Games are being squished left to right with custom graphics on the left and right side of my screen. Would love to turn that stuff off somehow. Any help appreciated on either issue, especially if I can just download something and not have to do anything complex with the software.

The marquee has it's own cord that looks like it can be plugged into it's own power supply. Only issue with this is it looks like as long as it's plugged in the marquee will always be on even when the machine is turned off.

Hi know it’s been nearly a year and you probably have figured it out but just in case you haven’t to get marvel vs street fighter trying installing the fba rom instead of the mame and use the fba emulator instead of the mame emulator that should work.
@@ComicCulture We will move to the pi4 whenever supported by retropie and stable. I still expect months out before this happens. It would not change our wiring, etc so you could swap to the pi 4 in the future and then swap sd cards with us for a new image.
Hey Haz. This company is incredibly shady and has horrible customer service. Be careful with your setup, I’d return the items and order through Tulsa Arcades. JC at Tulsa has amazing personal customer service and helped me troubleshoot the whole process. Now I have a badass setup with custom graphics I designed. This company has one too many bad issues and overall experience to continue with them. That’s my insight from my personal experience.

I received the mod kit for the Gen 3 Marvel cabinet and it doesn't work. Not sure why? Or how? When I plug in the lighting strip and the PI to the splitter's power supply...I get nothing. Also, if I unplug the PI from the splitter but keep the lights plugged in, eventually they turn on...Anyone know why this happens and how to get this to work properly?

@@DangerHavok The shotgun approach to 100 emails doesn't work well as it confuses staff on who has responded. You do not have your power cable plugged into the lcd converter. We sent an email back directly.

I just bought the TMNT Arcade 1up. I already ordered a marquee light up and have speakers. I’d like to add a raspberry pie to play more games and upgrade console with more buttons to play any game on raspberry pie. I have never done this, so hoping for a video on this soon.

Doesn't the marquee already light up on the new Marvel cab? Perhaps they should do a quick video on connecting it to their modded controller.
Same issue with both my GEN 3 cabs i ordered "USB 2.0 AFemale to DC 3.5x1.35mm Female Adapter Cable 5 Volt DC" off amazon should work fine.

The control deck for the Marvel cabinets is a different size than gen 1 and gen 2, yes.

The cut off screen DOES affect gameplay. Try Donkey Kong. You can barely see Mario on the first floor.

any such mod to allow leave in of stock board and being able to switch between the stock board and raspberry pi mod.

No. The volume and power buttons are wired into their pcb. Once you move to another computer like pi those no longer function.
