I am a regular user of 3D Bead it up on both my Teslas. It works incredibly well on polymer trim like bumpers and even wheel. But not nearly that long on the paint. A couple of months at best. But the shine it puts on is incredible. I do it dry after a good wash with good microfiber cloths. Dont use anything else. One to apply the other or maybe even to to wipe it off which isnt easy. You. One major cautionary note. The literature says that the product has a curing period of about 24 hours which is never discussed. If you dont do this the products effects may be compromised. I didnt realize this until after I put on my last coat but I did suck a good job of putting it on and wiping it off it appears there are no ill effects. Next time I will wait the 24 hrs and so should you.
Love 3D Abrasives, and BIU. I found it to be super slick, great water behavior, and it held up great as a spray sealant. I think I had it make it through a Michigan winter.
I am in Germany using bead it up. It collects stupid amounts of dust. I didn’t have a dust problem until I switch from turtle wax spray n dry to bead it up.
Meguiars HCW is the best beading product ive ever used. It leaves horrible water spots. Low pH sealants tend to resist spotting in my experience. Any thoughts on this?
Products that use carnauaba wax in the formula tend to do better as the wax is able to absorb the minerals in hard water whereas ceramic products get etched and it passes into the paint.
As someone who only washes my own cars i love the nano pails, they are such a space saver and the value imo is unmatched. Bead it up is so cheap and works so good, id like to try it against technicians choice ceramic spray because they are almost at the same price.
I'll definitely have to get a bottle of this to try out. For about $15, sounds like an incredible deal! I have been using quite a bit of Polishangel products which are SUPER expensive but I do enjoy using them. I am always glad to try amazing products that are budget friendly as I phase myself out of using Polishangel products just due to the prohibitive costs associated with that line, which, while they work fantastic, are truly ONLY for really hardcore enthusiasts out there.
Yea I seen those polish angel prices and basically pooped y pant. You gotta be someone that really enjoys waxing. BIU is super cheap and can be used for basically everything it's great stuff.
I use 3D Poxy for waxing. For a drying aid after a wash would Bead It Up or 3D Express Wax (Montan wax/polymers) be best? Great videos! Love how the "hype" is kept to a minimum and good lighting and camera angles to capture what matters, the performance!
Glad you enjoyed the video. I would say if you really love wax, express wax is good to use as a drying aid. Bead It Up can be used but is best used as it's own or on top of ceramic protection.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa Thanks for the response! Something about the feel of application/ the haze/and the wipe that I would miss if I switched to fully synthetic protection. Thanks again!
@BelLavoroAutoSpa I'm open to other companies i was looking at adams but I guess they don't sell a gallon size of there's and it's like 28 bucks for the retail bottle
How often can you use this? I tend to wash our vehicles every other week, sometimes once a week if it gets real dirty. We live near farms and a lot of construction in our area. Also, bugs!
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa I had an official dealer a few miles from my house 🤠 doesn't sell it anymore but hooked me up the 1st time. Love Primus and Neve , Neve is probably the best PH neutral pre wash. For the Alkaline I love BH autofoam
can you do a head to head, 3D bead it up versus Nanoskin Nanoshock? I haven't tried 3D yet, but I've wanted to because of the price. Nanoshock I used as an alternative to beadmaker once, it's essentially a way more hydrophobic, more durable version of beadmaker. They're very closely priced, apply the same way, etc. I think this would be a great comparison.
Thanks for the video. Many “new” spray-type products based on “silane”/polysiloxane/pdms are actually old, high-cost formulations using higher grade ingredients which could not be commercialized long ago in another era when the detailing market was very different. Such products are mostly simple formulations based on Silicone Oils of diff origins, grade and price. Hence, some are very tenacious but offer only average gloss while others offer higher gloss but poor durability. It all boils down to the type, grade and price of the silicone oils used. Same applies to the very easy to apply and to buff-off low-budget polysilazane-type (silicone oil type) coatings (eg: Technicians Choice) which can give great durability and slickness (bcos of the silicone) if not punished with powerful chemicals.
How do like this versus B&B blending's /OG/Adam's slick and slide since they're both cross linking polymer toppers? Also, I'm thinking this over 3D poxy might be killer? Thanks! Props on getting Kudos from Mike Phillips, by the way.
I like 3D much better than B&B products especially this. It would be awesome over Poxy. I use it over Speed which is the same kind of wax and it's amazing. Super cheap for a gallon too, can't go wrong.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa yeah guess I should have listened to the whole video before I asked. Lol I just heard you awnser the question. 🤦🏻♂️ anyway thanks for the response. Hi and thanks for a great video,I am going to work on 2 cars,on one I would use 3d speed with bead it up and on the other I would like to do it with 3d One then apply 3d poxy follow by bead it up,is this last combination fine or I don't need to apply nothing on top of poxy?
Not sure about bead maker but if you use too much Bead It Up it will smear as you are wiping off the excess. Just keep flipping the microfiber and eventually you'll get it all off.
i love it, i also started using flex wax from turtle wax, but bead it up is a little easier to work with, i haven't prepped the truck properly or clayed it, but it still works well ,
@@BelLavoroAutoSpaThe older 3D express spray wax does/did have some small amount of abrasives (I checked the SDS awhile ago) as I was intending to use it as a drying aid but gave that idea up.

Then I tried this 3D bead it up and the beading was insane, the slickness on the paint was amazing, and it really did visually add more gloss. Probably one of the best products I've ever used.

3D leans towards environmentally safe products which I appreciate. 3D One is usually my go-to for most jobs. I’ve been meaning to try their compounds.
definitely and many VOC compliant products that are not toxic to breathe in
