its funny I got the 3d speed on a whim thinking it wasn't going to do anything maybe add a little wax protection. I was completely surprised by the results i have been getting with it, I removed a bunch of scratches and hard water buildup on my windows like it was nothing. and my new titan had really bad and faded black paint, this stuff brought it back in no time literally less than 3 minutes on a whole panel and it looked amazing. I cant wait to try the 3D ONE with a correction pad.
Im new to 3D and love the brand. I tried the HD Speed. Amazing results. It comes out expensive to me because of postage. I need to try out more 3D products.
Soy de Quito Ecuador la verdad me gusta mucho el producto es algo nuevo y deseo saver mas de este producto tanto en pulimentos y en cerámicos y mas productos
Did they change the formula? Because I used speed topped with poxy a couple years ago on my new pickup for its first wax job and had to spend hours with a red eraser getting wax stains off of my black plastic trim. My bottles are the older black bottles.
Good question! This is the best product I've ever used on the paint, but Tunch is crazy... you get this near your plastic black trim and it is a complete mess!!
Love all of these products! Would love to hear from Mike or Tunch on this question: Is there any benefit to topping 3D Speed with Poxy? Will it actually lengthen the protection time?
Don from 3D said it's a waste to top Speed with Poxy, because wax doesn't bond to itself. If you want to use Poxy, it's better to just use ONE first then apply Poxy.
It would be faster and take less effort if you started with a heavier cutting compound like 3D ACA 500. You can finish with 3D One one a less aggressive pad. There are some soft paints that won’t finish as well as possible with a one-step product like 3D One, and you may end up needing a fine finishing polish.
AAT uses older nano abrasives. ACA and ONE use the new Alpha Ceramic Alumina abrasives. AAT is older tech, but still very, very high quality. 3D ONE sort of sits in between ACA500 Xtra Cut Compound, and ACA520 Finishing Polish in it's cut and finish. It could have been called "ACA510" if they had gone that route.
They were plotting between takes, hey wanna work for me? How much paper we talking? Obviously was a raise in $$$ and at mikes level and time in biz it probably made sense long term
You could use either one, just personal preference. We would recommend using the Poxy but also topping it with the Bead It Up for the extra slickness and hydrophobic properties. Both are very easy to apply.
@@reza_dc2 no. If you use 3d one then follow that with poxy. If you use 3d speed that is good enough on it's own but can be followed with poxy for added wax. It all depends on the condition of the paint or the results your looking for
@@rob-lw7be Appreciate that , I figured out 3D one is more of a paint correction compared to 3D speed. I’m planning to correct black BMW paint , hood , roof , and trunk are becoming dull.
@@reza_dc2 - 3D ONE functions as a compound, medium polish, and finishing polish depending on the pad. A lot of people mistakenly think it's a "one step polish". It's a "one polish does all" product. The fact that it finslishes so well when used as a cutter makes people think that. I used this stuff weekly at work. I've used it on everything from McLarens, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, etc to my junky 2006 Dodge Charger and everything else. It's a very versatile, and very effective product. I've tried the Sonax, Rupes, CarPro, Adam's, Jescar, Menzerna, Optimun, Meguiar's, Poorboys, and probably some compounds/polishes I don't even remember. I consistently reach for 3D's line more than the others. I do really like the Meguiar's M110, M205, M210, and the Jescar line. Optimun Hyper Polish is great too.
It doesn’t correct as well as 3D One, it’s less aggressive. It doesn’t leave as much protection behind as Poxy. It does a great job of improving gloss and filling in deeper scratches and wipes away very easily. Speed is the perfect name for it, it enhances the paint quickly.
Speed is 10% cut, 20% polish, and 70% protection (synthetic and montan wax). In theory yes, although with the focus more on the polishing end than the cutting, where 3D ONE is more balanced.
I haven't tried this product, I been a automotive painter for more than 35+ years, and all my life I used the best of the best 3M products. They are the leaders auto body and paint products in the world. I priced 3D products in comparison to 3M and there is not much of a difference. I am always looking to try something new, but I always say if something is not broken why fix it.
Sounds like the 3M works great for you. No need to search for anything different. I didn't like the 3M personally. I preferred the Meguiar's back in the day. Today I'm using 3D. It's all what works best for the individual. If it's 3M for you, you're all set.
Any polishing pad would work great with the 3D Speed. For Buff & Shine, people like to use the dark blue URO Tec pads. For Lake Country, the white polishing pads work fantastic. If you have a RUPES tool and pads, the yellow foam works great.
Best compound and polish in the industry. Love 3D
I like that he’s very honest with his own product. Not even people the review his product review it this honest 💯
I used 3D One for my first ever polishing job and it was a great experience ...
3D is one of the best products I've used got all three of these, plus the ACA 500&520 results second to none.
Great video. With the Chemistry background, this CEO knows his stuff. Great how he explains things.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video I own and have used all these products for years . Enjoy each one of these products especially the 3D one and Poxy.

3D make really great quality products, all of them are Magnificent!
Everyone are pleasantly surprised after trying them
Really really good brand 👍🏼
Good to know where the three products fit into my detailing packages.
Love their whole line. Did right getting certified by them
I have speed\one..... I have used one a few times. I love it! Speed has a lot of fans! I will try it soon.
2 of my most commonly used products - great stuff. Switch cut by using different pads. - Yancy
great to see these interview and wish 3D was still under his control and not current structure
Absolutely great video. Thanks a lot for knowledge.
Thank u for this video ,it helped me to decide which 3D product to use

3D One is very good.
Great information will be placing my order soon 👍👍👍
Love 3D products 😊👍
Great information. Thank you.
great video! Thank You
This guy is like the Wolfgang Puck of the detailing World.
Używam 3d speed i produkt jest świetny , serdecznie polecam . Szybko się na nim pracuje i łatwo dociera .
Now I need to go to my local distributor just to buy this combo. 😂
A Dad's Life The 3D ONE IS AMAZING.
Like your video, if you use speed can you apply poxy right after you done speed ? Or you have to wait like 1 month or more?
I’ve looked everywhere for an answer. Do i need to add a detail spray or wax after 3d one

I’ve only used $peed lol but it did stain my trim 😔. Love 3D though
is 3d 400 good and also is it the higher of the # that cuts deeper.
400 is the part number.

What pad d you recommend with Speed?
A polishing pad would work best with Speed. You could use something like a White Lake Country CCS pad or a Dark Blue Buff & Shine Uro-Tec pad.

Thank you for the response
I'm usually against topping a cleaner wax, but I have for a friend, and I used 3D Express Wax.
Optimum Car Wax is another I would ise as a topper.
I like the 3D soap an wax no touch wash
Can I top the 3D speed with the poxy? Thanks
Yes
