I pretty much watch mvc2 just for Max's strider. I don't expect new or fun teams with this game anymore. I haven't seen anything but magneto, psylock, sentinel, doom, cable, and commando. Kudos to that last guy for being an honest player.

In case some people want to know, the reason Max had no mercy on that last player is because usually, if you pick the bottom tier characters, it's usually because you're a god at this game looking to troll the hell out of someone. There's a video where that's what EXACTLY happened when Max was playing with Mike Ross against someone online, Max even mentions him in this video! So to be fair, Max had every right to not give the dude a chance to get in, once Max realised it was a casual, it was too late....

Cables unblockable can be countered by not blocking initially when entering the arena, then immediately blocking right after. You get hit initially but don't get viper beamed to hell after.

You could stop guard breaks by purposefully taking damage from the Guard Break Attack. Once you take that shot, your block will still work when he executes HVB. However, if Cable catches on, he can simply cancel immediately into HVB. It's a 50/50 chance.
Doom is my fav villain because every time I see him I think of MF Doom.

This game is all over the place with the constant spam of projectiles and team assist.
It's weird cause they could easily balance it. But MVC3 proved that this game is meant to played as ridiculously as possible.
Heard Mike z said with frame skip it causes a issue where when doing a super sometimes if the person tries to block if the frame skip happens on a certain frame then it makes the super unblockable
when ever i saw the white and red strider i always thought of Canada for some reason.

Broken infinites and guard glitching, sounds like the Fist of the Northstar Arcade fighter from Japan was put out by SEGA. I played in a tournament for that game and it was really tough.

I don't know how things work at the higher levels of Marvel play so I was wondering if someone can explain why people never snapback. Do they feel like it isn't worth the meter just to finish off one of the other player's characters?
In the third match Max could've gotten in and brought Magneto back out and finished him off therefor not having to worry about his assist.
Snapbacks are great but people just don't either use then when they should or just want to go for the kill.

when cable strike your incoming character and it broke your guard all you have to do is to push it back so that it will not broke your guard,,but there is another way to caught you unguard but for the meantime that is my tip for now,,there is a lot of way to break the guard of your opponent when they coming in,,and also there is a lot of way how to escape from it

Max's team actually fights. He goes in and performs actual combos and doesn't rely on an entire team of gimmicks.

+Nek klik yeah anyone who bitches about the gap between top tier and low tier in modern fighting game does not know what a unbalanced character roster truly id is. If your not using the top characters then your basically going in missing an arm or two while your opponent has 16 in this game.
