I totally don't understand how the purple is different to the 52...but I love both of the colors! I would buy this one too sis, only I have 2 ESV readers in the Highland Goatskin, one of which is purple. But I cannot wait to see what you do with yours soon :) Love you sis, thanks for the video!
Hi Cat lovely purple and blue 🙂 . I know what mean I’ve just received my Henry Morris king James study Bible , I’m so excited as it has a lot of scientific proof for creation. Now I’m excited as I’m waiting for my NIV Thompson Chain Reference Bible in goat skin. I agree with you Cat the ESV is very good , I like ESV as my literal translation and my NIV for ease of use. I have this same Bible in Petrol Blue and I just started decorating it last night💙. This is my absolute favorite Bible.
Hi Cindy.. Are you happy with the Petrol blue color? Is it a pretty blue? Online videos/&pics never do real-life justice. lol So I can't decide between the Blue or Purple. I need some input. Oh!...and are pages slick or grainy? Some bibles have that waxy, shiny slick feel and makes it harder to turn (or grasp!) the page. And I hate having to resort licking my thumb to do it! lol So to recap:
1. Is it a pretty blue? or do u wish you'd gotten purple?
2. Are the pages slick or grainy?

The paper is amazing no grainy feel in my opinion.
@@sylvia4425 I like the color but I did think it would be a bright blue and it's not. The pages are buttery smooth and not grainy.
This is helpful to me, I’m trying to decide between the purple and petrol blue. I love blue, but they don’t have any petrol blue right now. That’s interesting that it’s not a bright blue
@@catwoods5499 lol..And to me grainy is amazing. Smooth=difficult to grasp and turn a few pages. Like they're too slick, smooth to get to a chapter/verse quickly.

I've been using one of my bibles so much SEVERAL pages are coming unattached from the spine...noticed it today....but..id rather have a bible that's ready to fall apart from being used as apposed to having one that is in pristine condition just gathering dust

I've got a NC2 in Petrol Blue coming in the mail! Super excited!
(And as others have mentioned in the comments, NC2 is the Calfskin and NC1 is the Goatskin)
Hi Luke. I'm torn between ordering a Petrol Blue NC2 or the Purple one. Have you received your Petrol blue from UK yet? How's the color? (Sometimes colors look different online via videos & pics.)

NC2 means it’s a calfskin edition. NC1 is goatskin. The bible contents are the same.

Cat, Crossway has this same text block but in 9 pt font in a bible very close in size to a Cambridge Concord. It's a red-letter and under $30 after membership discount. It is a very nice bible for the money. I have been curious about this Allan, which is i think a 10 pt enlargement, but just haven't been able to pull the trigger yet. :) It would be great if you could get ahold of one of the Crossways and do a side-by-side comparison.

Hey Sis, Why do you prefer to order premium bibles only through EVangelical Bibles...and not the one from UK? (Just wanna know because the color I want isn't sold here at EV bibles. (It's this exact same bible...only in the color "Petrol Blue". I would've preferred they named it Galilean blue or something like that. lol) Sounds like petroleum blue? Sorry, I digress. So why do you avoid ordering premiums from UK direct bibles? Just curious.

Ohhhh your not the only one trust me. I thought the same too. Until I got one now this color combination grew on me 😂🤣 but your not insulting me or my Bible because I thought the same 😊😉
Please, tell us the font of the Bible that you are reviewing. I think the font is very important because it can motivate or discourage a customer from buying or not buying a Bible.
