Got a Montero 4x4 last Feb. Although it doesnt have a cam in front and an auto close backdoor, it also has a sunroof. Dash speedometer is different and the front lights. Aside from this all features look the same. Powerful engine, good for overtaking. Some told me that i should also consider resale value and tell me to buy the other brand. I told them with features like this i dont have any plans of selling this car.
Respect to you sir. Those who complain never even tried getting inside one.

From Australia, brilliant in-depth review! One cool thing (which I think is amazing) is that the tailgate has two buttons. One to close it normally and the other to close it and lock the car at the same time. How cool is that?!

I got the GT 4x2 only so expensive. But this 4x4 is worth the price since mitsu is quite known for excellent 4x4 vehicles.

it seems like the Montero is only available through direct imports or the greymarket. I am sure you have plenty of other options with better price and features. I just did a quick google search so I might be wrong but it is what it seems like. Thanks

guys i think this montero is the most advance and most badass Suv in the phillipines its worth the price guys look at the highclass,highend,high performance car and ofcourse more hightech than fortuner and everest and other suv competetor look how hightech and beautiful car that is even the exterioir and interior is very luxirious and guys my dad owns fortuner but this new montero is really the best suv in the market
I get it. But the price don't justify this car. 2.2M will do but it's almost 2.5M SRP. I'll still go with the Top-Spec Everest if I'm a buyer.

This vehicle may sound expensive but some dealers offer huge discount. Check niyo.
You forgot to mention, the GT 4WD can be operated using a Mitsubishi remote control app thru your smart phone.
The following operations can be preset using the app:
- tailgate open/close/lock automatically
- headlights on/off
- doors open/close
Power windows open/close
- engine switch on/off
- electronic tailgate main switch on/off.

Don’t be so disappointed your fj cruiser cost more than a 2wd montero gt as it 100000 but expensive so 2,100,000.00 Philippine peso. Damn, I love that suv

Only vehicle in the mid size segment (both suv n pickup trucks) that comes with center diff lock and rear diff lock.

HansZel The Everest 2.0 Titanium Bi-Turbo is way more better than the Fortuner 2.8 V 4x4 and Montero Sport GT 4WD in terms of features and pricing. This variant of the Montero Sport is way too expensive followed by the Fortuner 2.8 V.

@@realVicTorres02 ford's new 2.0 biturbo engine has not been proven yet but the montero's mivec engine has already been proven. The 2 turbos will consume more oil as they age. This is just my opinion since Im also an engineer

Na solve na kaya weight issue 4x4 variant? Kaya late ito na release kumpara sa 4x2 .. Dahil sa extra weight ng "reinforced body" eh plus yung weight ng 4x4 system.. (axle...etc..)..
Daily Monsters They already solved it. The cause of issue was on the weight which affected the emission of the vehicle. They just resolved the issue by just tweaking the vehicle's emissions control system to get it to meet the proper rating, which is Euro 4.

SHRB TV Mitsubishi PH has deleted the 'trim badging' on every model range from 2018 onwards. So Mitsubishi vehicles manufactured from 2018 to the present are not equipped with the 'trim badging' in the back of the vehicle.
Seriously? 2.4million! Pesos! Thats too expensive! If I already grew up I go for the everest 4x4 for 2.2 million it cames with large moonroof, more features like the auto parking system but the problem is the engine is too small, my dad said once the engine is small the aircon will be not cold.
If you don't turn on the a.c. switch... it might be.
but with respect sir this new montero 4x4 is a higend and very highclass and hightech than the everest and of course even the interior of the car the montero is more beautifull than ever and its worth of money sir
