Technically, it's actually more better than the Fortuner. The Montero is still underrated while the Fortuner is overated already. I wonder how many people are still buying Fortuners?
Victor Torres if you’d notice, the montero sua reports are resurfacing again on facebook. Those sua reports seem to always coincide with a new model release of the montero 🤔

Montero is far better than fortuner ride modern design instrumentation very nice inside well loaded more option.fortuner ride sucks that is why dealers dont allow you test drive. Beautiful inside n outside n taillight is better than fortuner even the previous taillight is still good.

Maganda naman din ang fortuner kaya lang, ung pagtutupi ng upuan sa likod naka hang. Unlike sa montero tlgng nakadapa, malaki ang maikakarga.
Tama bro at matagtag at masikip sa likod hindi comportable umopo at halos mauntog na ulo sa likod..

Good day po, sir. Siguro po dahil face lifted lang po 'tong model na 'to. Base parin po 'to sa previous model, kaya little improvement and or changes po sa interior. GT lang po siguro ang naka digital gauge po.

You can’t compare it saying it looks like a big expander since they each have their own unique design. The expander is a cheap unleaded fed 1.5L AUV. It doesn’t come close. Of course Mitsubishi has their current design language so they will all be similar but with their own differences.

design is subjective. for me montero looks better.

Sir ask ko lng po if need na FULLY press (as in sagad talaga) ang brake pedal when shifting gears (from P to R or vice versa, R to N to D or vice versa)? Or pwede naman kahit half-press lang ang brake pedal as long as the car stop? Is there any effect in the transmission in the long run if ever fully press ang brake pedal every time i shift? thank you sir

2019 gls user here.. this video clarifies that you only get much for all new montero if you will get the GT variant which is common sense even for the the original 3rd gen GT..

Because toyota is easier to handle and cheaper when it comes to maintenance but performance satisfaction. All other suv's brand are equipped with additional accessories and features just to impress costumers..but everybody knows, toyota is toyota. Here in the middle east, toyota has the highest resale value regardless of model.
yes sir napakaganda po talaga. Nagupgrade ako from Fortuner to Montero Sport. Honestly, one of the best decisions I made in my life. Akala ko din dati mas maganda Fortuner kase madalas nakita ko sa daan and best selling siya, pero when I did my own research and test drive, malayo mas maganda Montero. Mas comportable, mas malakas, better third row fold, better interior, high tech. Mas masikip nga lang siya ng konti kaysa fortuner, pero overall, worth definitely worth it! 😁

Who the hell cares if you’d have it mistaken for Xpander? Montero follows the same Dynamic shield designs which pioneered by Xpander. That is essentially the point of having the same shield design.

no doubt previous model is more handsome than this new montero, this is a copy paste model with a downgrade physical design.. xpander, new strada, and this new montero looks identical.. i will go for the original design of montero which is the previous one model, hnd eto na maraming kamukha.
